Nkporo development Union Lagos branch gets new executives!!!

The union on 28th May inaugurated and swore in new executives, our correspondent who was at the event which took place on Sunday said that it was a colourful event as people turn out in their numbers to witness the process.

Some of them spoken to said it had never been like this before which means a new era is birthed and they are optimistic that they will deliver.

Many notable Nkporo dignitaries turned up for the event people like Agu (Agu n'eche mba), chief Sunday Eleanya ( Ike Nkporo) Iroegbula Ota (Odogwu N'Abia) and many others too numerous to mention.

The Supreme Court has affirmed Ademola Adeleke as the legitimate governor of Osun State.

The apex court says Gboyega Oyetola and APC failed to prove its case of improper accreditation of voters and over-voting.

Today Dr.O.U. Oji receives his staff of office as Autonomous eze for Ndi Nko. this took place at Micheal okpara auditorium umuahia.

In a Facebook post made by the daughter Juliet Oji where she wrote

Congratulations to my father His Royal Highness Eze Dr. O. U. OJI(Uga III of Ndi Nko Autonomous Community) as he receives his staff of office from the State Governor.

The deputy governor of Abia state His excellency Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu who represented the Governor did the hand over of the staff to the new Eze Autonomous.

Congratulations the famous Nkporo Dr Oji.

May your reign be long.

This year’s Face of Nkporo winner would go home with a Car. There would be big consolation prizes too. Let us encourage activities in our NKPORO and grow our land. If you cannot do it, allow others do it. Stop pulling people who make efforts down.

Where are we heading to educationally as a people?

Are we really getting it right when it comes to educational Foundation of our next generation or we are setting a time bomb that will soon explode that will scatter all that we have been building?
I have taken time to understudy the situation in Nkporo and found out that slot or children from age 3 to 14 that are out of school in Nkporo and gives me alot of concern, and it is also an indication that we need to come together and find a way out of this dilemma.
We need to come together as a people and put this children back to school atleast let them do their nursery and secondary which is the foundation of education.

What I am proposing.
1. Let's come together and form what I call Nkporo scholarship trust fund that will take care os these indigent children to atleast their secondary level.
2. Let all the organisations owned by Nkporo indigens to partner to fund some of these .
3. Let the well-meaning Nkporo sons and daughters that are lover of education be part of the donations that will be made to kick start the trust fund .

My reasons for proposing these!
1. From nursery to secondary is the foundation of education and if we miss that means our educated populace will drop drastically in the next 10 years from now .
2. We won't have people that will occupy important positions that will help develop our community and contribute to the development of our nation and the world at large.

From my heart I wrote this out of concern for a better Nkporo.

It's no hype that Dr. Obinna Okuji Oreh, the frontline candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency is loved as a mammoth crowd greets his campaign team in Abam Onyerubi.

Dr. Obinna Okuji Oreh visited Nde Okorie village, Eziaffor village, Nde Agwu village, Atan village, Ndi Okereke village, Ndi Okwara village, and Ndi Oji all in Abam Onyerubi yesterday, February 3, 2023, to solicit their support and vote for the upcoming general election, which is scheduled for February 25th, 2023.

The Detained Ezeogos of Nkporo have been released but non of them paid for their bailing.

One of the Ezes who spoke unanimously said they was a swift intervention from Rt Hon. Prince Arua Arunsi and other Nkporo sons and daughters residing in umuahia which made their release easy.

The APP flagbearer for Arochukwu/Ohafia federal RT Hon. Rt Hon. Prince Arua Arunsi hits different wards in Arochukwu alongside their party Governorship candidate Mascot Uzo Kalu .
Report has it that they were warmly received.

Our reporter who was at the location says that the Honourable used the opportunity to point out to the wards executives that they have alot of work to do in convincing the electorates to vote for him and the all their party candidates.

In his words the Hon. Made it clear that they are in this contest to rescue Arochukwu/Ohafia and Abia state at large. He also said the era of political lies are over, that action is what they are going to implement.

In the same vain the party executives promised to deliver their wards in grand styles in the forthcoming election.
