Salvation Ministries Pastor Daere Akobo Inducted into Forbes Business Council.
Pastor Daere Akobo is a Physicist,Philanthropist, Business Mogul, Chairman PANA Holdings, CEO PE Energy Ltd and Kari Care Technology.
Fellow of the Institute of Directors of London, member Nigerian Society of Engineers,member Nigerian Gas Association, member Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria, and life member Nigeria Institute of Directors.
Born on Saturday May 12th 1973 In Port Harcourt, Rivers State Nigeria. Engineer Daere Akobo attended Rivers State University Of Science and Technology ( now Rivers State University) were he obtained a BSc degree in Applied Physics, He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
He started his career in January 1998, with the International Petroleum Company of Nigeria (IPCO), as an Electrical /Instrumentation Engineer.
By June of 2004 he moved to TOTAL E&P (formerly Elf petroleum) to work as a Stock Control technical assistant in the Procurement Department. He later went on to GE, where he became the first African ultrasonic flowmeter specialist with GE Panametrics and GE Bently Nevada in Nigeria.
During his career, Engineer Akobo commissioned ultrasonic flowmeters, vibration and condition monitoring instruments to Oil and Gas Power generating plants cutting across ALGERIA, EGYPT, ANGOLA, TUNISIA, QATAR, BAHRAIN and GERMANY, as well as several offshore locations in Nigeria.
In September of 2009, Pastor Akobo established PE Energy Limited, (formerly known as Plant Engineering Nigeria Limited) with the vision of bridging the service gap among multinational oil field tools & equipment manufacturing companies, international oil exploration and production companies, engineering, procurement and construction companies and other related service companies.
The excellent services and strong alliances of his companies and businesses have continued to pull in a steady stream of global clients from leading and world-renowned organizations like Shell, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Total, Agip, NLNG, Saipem, Daewoo, Hyundai, just to name a few.
The company has also extended its borders across Ghana by establishing PE Prime Ghana Limited in 2017.
Pastor Akobo is also holding the position of Chairman at PANA Holdings, a multi-industry conglomerate.
