KEBBI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY IMPEACHED SPEAKER AND HIS DEPUTY.

Acting Clerk of the House Mohammad Usman Bunza, announced the impeachment on the floor of the House today.
Mohammad Bunza said, twenty members out of the twenty-four in the Assembly signed the impeachment letter of the speaker Alh Isma'ila Abdulmumini Kamba, and his Deputy Muhammad Buhari Aliero, and called for the nomination of new speaker of the House.
A motion was moved by member Mohammad Sama'ila Bagudo representing Bagudo East Constituency, nominating Mohammad Abubakar Lolo from Bagudo West Constituency as the new speaker, and seconded by Abubakar Imam representing Besse from Koko/Besse Constituency.

Thereafter other members accepted the nominee Mohammad Abubakar Lolo and sworn-in as the new speaker by the Acting Clerk of the House Mohammad Usman Bunza, where Mohammad Usman Dabai from Zuru Constituency was sworn-in as the new Deputy Speaker of the House.

Kano State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has slated Wednesday, 02, October for the verdict between People's Democratic Party (PDP) and it's gubernatorial candidate, Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the Kano State Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
The PDP and it's candidate Abba K. Yusuf are challenging the declaration of Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as the winner of march 23 inconclusive governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
It could be recalled that, on wednesday september 18, the Tribunal reserved the verdict after hearing all from the both parties, the chairman of the Tribunal Halima Shamaki said that the date of the verdict will be communicated to both parties.
Speaking to newsmen today, one of the lawyers in the case said that they have received Tribunal notification for the verdict on Wednesday 2, October.

National Labour Congress Kebbi State Council and it's counter parts Trade Union Congress, unanimously disassociated themselves from the recent approval of thirty thousand naira minimum wage (30,000.00) by the state government.
The Kebbi state NLC chairman Comrade Halidu Alhassan made the pronouncement in a press conference in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital on wednesday, comrade Halidu Alhassan said the labour union was not engage in any discussion about the recent approved minimum wage by the state government rather, they only across the news circulating in the social media which according to him violated the law of the payment of new minimum wage.
He used the medium to urge workers in the state to remain calm, as the joint Unions will do anything possible to ensure justice has been done at all levels of the staff, in the implementation of the approved national minimum wage.
