My husband came home and met his friend in our house eating (I served him food when he came cos each time he come to visit my husband I serve them together but this time around he came when my husband had gone out)

My husband walked in with a heavy face and just greeted us like he was forced to greet us, he went straight to the room and didn't come out.

I excused myself and left his friend still eating, wen I got to the room I met my husband on the bed, I asked if he didn't see his friend and why he is here all alone.

The next thing I heard was gbas gbos on my face💔😳

Daniel what did I do? He gave me another fried slap😭 and he began to rain insults on me as to why I gave his friend food and sat comfortably gisting when he was away.....

I could say a word, he pushed me and walked away.

I over heard him telling his friend he was going out that they will see tomorrow. I couldn't come out to even clear the dishes until his friend left.

He came back this morning and wen I asked where he slept, he asked me to leave his house if I can't stay with him without asking where he's coming from starting from today.

I'm not just confused but blank, I don't know if I should talk to him about his friends visit or be mute or just leave.

Pls help me out💔

38YEAR OLD FULL-TIME HOUSEWIFE WHOSE HUSBAND ASKS HIS FRIEND TO JOIN THEM DURING S*X, IS CONFUSED ABOUT THE PATERNITY OF HER CHILD

Hello Omajuwa. I am a 38-year-old full-time housewife who got married traditionally about 5 years ago. My husband is a 49-year-old who had told me he got divorced 7years ago and had 2children from the previous marriage. The ex-wife and children stay in Canada. He is an architect who travels from time to time.

We have been looking up to God for a child since we got married and my husband has been quite understanding. He does not stress me about our childlessness. My mother-in-law rarely picks my calls and does not trouble me about a child too. My best friend keeps advising me to do my best to give my husband a child so as to secure my place in his family.

Few months ago, my husband’s friend started living with us. It started out as him coming to stay the weekend but he has refused to leave. Whenever I bring it up, my husband simply say that the friend is trying to get on his feet and he is helping him out because the friend was there for him in the past as well.

One afternoon, the friend walked in on my husband and I having s*x and instead of getting furious, my husband asked that he joined us. I felt embarrassed that day but got used to it overtime. My husband had said it’s just s*x so the friend joins us occasionally. My husband travels a lot for work and sometimes when I feel too lonely, I simply go to his friend’s room to sort myself.

However, few days ago, I found out I am pregnant. My husband has been on a business trip for over a month now and I do not know how to tell him. Hope he won’t question the paternity of this child? How do I know whose child I am carrying? Would it matter to him? Do I just get rid of the pregnancy? I finally have what I have been longing for all these years but hope it will not ruin my home? Please help me.

APC: How the struggle for 2026 fiber cost Omisore his seat

By Segun Ojo, Ilesa

The removal of Senator Iyiola Omisore as the National Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) may have the undertone of the politics of who picks the party’s ticket for the Osun governorship poll in 2026.

Elected at the party’s March 27 Convention, Omisore’s four years tenure as the APC’s national scribe was cut short with his purported resignation announced by the Deputy National Chairman (North), Senator Abubakar Kyari, at a meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party in Abuja on Monday.

Insinuations, mostly on social media platforms, have attributed the removal of Omisore, which was done alongside that of the National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, to financial impropriety

But away from the insinuations, feelers have hinted that the Omisore was eased out of his position in the APC to wither his chance at clinching the party’s ticket for the 2026 governorship poll. Omisore has a longtime aspiration to govern Osun state, and the former deputy governor is believed to be counting on his position as the national secretary to get the APC ticket to actualize his governorship aspiration.

In Imo state, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, who is the National Secretary of main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clinched the party’s ticket to contest the state’s governorship seat in the November poll, and Omisore, according to feelers from is camp, is also considering to take similar route to try his luck for the Osun governorship seat under the platform of the APC in 2026.

Although, subtle and only known to close confidants, but former Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola got wind of the former deputy governor’s intention and took steps to frustrate his plans. Oyetola had lost re-election in the 2022 poll, and still nurses the ambition to return to the Bola Ige House by contesting the 2026 governorship election on the platform of the APC.

According to an insider, Oyetola began to grew wary of Omisore shortly after the presidential election when the Ife born politician literally took up the advocacy against using the court to hijack Osun state from Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The source said Oyetola was taken aback after Omisore cautioned against manipulating the courts to take back Osun from Adeleke as vigorously pushed by the former governor and some of his lieutenants in a meeting with President Bola Tinubu in Abuja during the pendency of litigation on the governorship poll.

“From that meeting, Oyetola knew something was off but could not say what exactly was until recently when he found out that Omisore is putting up mechanism in place to be the APC flagbearer in 2026 leveraging on the office of the national secretary,” a close ally of Oyetola who does not want his name in print hinted.

The finding, the source noted, miffed Oyetola who feared Omisore may block his path to the APC ticket in 2026 if he remains the national scribe of the party before the primary, and activated steps to get him out of the position.

It was at this point, the source stressed, that the fate of Omisore to leave the NWC was sealed, even though Oyetola maintained an outlook that suggested all was well between them.

The plot, an APC chieftain in Osun told our reporter, was however not an easy sell to President Tinubu, who though want the national chairman, Adamu out, favoured Omisore to retain his position going by the role he played in his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate.

But Oyetola got his way through another former governor in the state, Chief Bisi Akande, who the chieftain said have a sore past with Omisore, to persuade Tinubu to include the former deputy governor in the purge at the APC’s NWC.

“From the start, the plan was to get Adamu out, but in-between, Omisore was dragged in to disrupt his plan for the 2026 governorship race. Initially, Asiwaju (Tinubu) was not buying the idea of pushing Omisore out of the NWC, but changed his mind after Baba Akande weighed in,” the chieftain noted.

“As all of these was going on, Omisore was left in the dark, and he was banking on the impression that the President (Tinubu) has his back. That was why he attended the NWC meeting before he was excused because he never thought he would be asked to go.”

The treatment meted to Omisore is causing ripple among his bloc of the APC in Osun state, as many loyalists expressed disgust at the manner in which the former senator was eased out of office.

A loyalist who spoke to this reporter on the development, said Omisore was unfairly targeted by those who are intimidated by his increasing acceptability in the APC, warning that “the removal of Omisore pose a grave danger to any effort to revive the party in Osun to challenge the PDP.”

“It is unimaginable that given Omisore’s loyalty and commitment to the APC, some people will think the way to reward him is to force him out of office just because he has governorship ambition. Is having ambition now a crime or they are saying Omisore isn’t qualified?” he asked rhetorically.

Omooba Advocates Use Of Yoruba Language At Osun Assembly Floor

A Yoruba culture activist, Akanni Omooba, has voiced his fervent appeal to the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Adewale Egbedun, urging the adoption of Yoruba as the official language of communication within the parliamentary proceedings.

Akanni Omooba, a youth development advocate and prince of Osogbo believes that embracing the Yoruba language in such a manner would not only preserve the cultural heritage of the state but also foster better understanding and representation among the people.

Yoruba, one of Nigeria’s major languages, according to Akanni Omooba boasts a rich history and a large number of native speakers within Osun State. The language holds significant cultural and historical value for the people of Osun, playing a pivotal role in shaping their identity and traditions.

He said, by adopting Yoruba as the language of communication in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Adewale Egbedun has the opportunity to demonstrate his commitment to the cultural preservation and advancement of the Yoruba people.

Akanni Omooba, a passionate advocate for Yoruba language and culture, emphasizes the numerous benefits that such a decision would bring.

“By using Yoruba as the language of communication, the parliament would create a more inclusive and accessible environment for all citizens, bridging the gap between the lawmakers and the people they represent. This linguistic transformation would enable a more direct and effective means of communication, resulting in better governance and the active participation of the public in the democratic process.

“Furthermore, the adoption of Yoruba as the official language would enhance civic education and awareness among the citizens of Osun State. It would foster a sense of pride and cultural unity, reinforcing the connection between the government and its constituents. By embracing the language of the people, Hon. Adewale Egbedun would strengthen the bond between the lawmakers and the Yoruba community, creating an environment that celebrates diversity while honoring the historical legacy of the state.

Akanni Omooba applauded the newly constituted Osun State House of Assembly for its commitment to promoting the cultural heritage of the Yoruba people and urged the honorable Speaker to champion this cause.

“The adoption of Yoruba as the language of communication within the parliamentary proceedings will be a significant step toward cultural preservation, inclusivity, and effective governance. It is a progressive move that will inspire other states in Nigeria to recognize and celebrate their native languages, contributing to the overall growth and development of the nation.”

Meet Iya Osogbo, The Oldest Woman In The Yoruba Film Industry.

Madam Grace Owoola Oyin-Adejobi, widely known as 'Iya Osogbo,' is a well-known Nigerian actress, producer, and television personality..

She was born in Osogbo, Osun State's capital, on August 23, 1930, to a contractor father and a merchant mother.

Iya Osogbo was the wife of the late Chief Oyin Adejobi, a famous Yoruba actor.

Iya Osogbo's nickname was derived from the title of a popular film in which she acted in 1999, "Eran Iya Oshogbo."

She began her acting career roughly 67 years ago, and she indicated that she had already made her name before starring in the film "Eran Iya Osogbo," therefore correcting the public's perception of her name.

She has worked with the likes of Orogun Adedigba, Kuye, Kootu Ashipa, and others. She has received national and international recognition, solidifying her place as one of Nigeria's top actresses.

Why I stopped acting - Iya Osogbo

Grace Oyin Adejobi Iya Osogbo
Veteran Yoruba actress Grace Oyin-Adejobi popularly known as Iya Osogbo has disclosed why she gave up on appearing on screen again as she clocks 90 on Sunday, August 23..

Iya Osogbo is the widow of the late Yoruba actor Oyin Adejobi who died in 2000..

During an appearance on a radio magazine program on Space 90.1FM, Parrot Xtra Hour on Radio, anchored by Olayinka Agboola in Ibadan, Oyo State, Iya Osogbo said she started her acting career some 67 years ago..

She noted that she had already made her name before she acted in the movie Eran Iya Osogbo contrary to beliefs.

The actress spoke for the first time about the day an excited fan nearly run her car over her in Ibadan.

She said the experience has remained indelible in her memory.

The fan eventually came down from her car to let me know that she merely wanted to exchange greetings with me. She later enveloped ten thousand naira and dashed me. Iya Osogbo said .

The veteran actress expressed displeasure over the near-nudity in Nollywood today, advising actresses not to be deceived by the pleasures of the world but to believe they can succeed through hard work and the grace of God..

Iya Osogbo said she met her late husband Oyin Adejobi in her youthful days. They attended the same school and lived on the same streett..

She said that apart from the death of her husband, the lowest point in her life was when her fourth child a female died..

I got to attain this age because of God’s mercy. In addition, the almighty also gave me the wisdom of preserving my body and being moderate in all I have been doing. Our youths should emulate this too. They should learn to be God-fearing too.
