Things you should never be embarrassed about:
1. Not having money for Asoebi.

2. Being single or childless in your 30's

3. Going back to school in your 40's

4. Using an Android phone when there's an
iphone 14 Pro Max.

5. Moving back home to get on your feet
financially.

6. Leaving a tøxic relationship or marriage.

7. Still being a virgin at whatever age

8. Wearing a synthetic wig.

9. Doing an Honest job that even tho doesn't pay well but takes care of your bills

Dear Tailors
I mean,dear Tailors who depend solely on fashion and design
(cutting and sewing) and has nothing else attached to your skill.

Tailors who's life/family/ depends on it

Please,in all sincerity,you need to start making plans for the future.
Plans of having another source of income attached to your sewing skill

Plans like ;

Having people to work for you (starting getting more sewing machines and employ people to work for you ,all you'll need to do is to supervise)

Having monthly sales goals and having monthly savings (this will save us on the rainy day)

FABRICS(lining, Cashmere, brocade, poly fabrics, Isiagu etc)

Jewelleries(stud, cufflinks,brooch,lapel pins, walking stick,

Learn how To teach (online(YouTube or Telegram or whatapp and physical training (other ppl fashion academy)

Learn the Business side of fashion

Fashion photography and Phone graphics

These are just few to mention ..the list of things to add to your sewing are many.

The reason why you need to start making plans for the future is because we are not getting younger
The more you sew ,the more our health challenges are getting worse (more worse for those tailors who don't exercise their body)
So we may not have that energy again to cut and sew

Another reason is that ,time and unforseen occurnace befall us all(like when the co-vid 19 came .. Sewing reduced and most tailors started dying of hunger )

Another reason why we need to plan now is because the country is getting rough and tough and people may want to reduce their level of sewing unlike before.

So sit down ,think,plan, strategies and pray about it so that you can be well equipped for the future .

I watched a clip yesterday where Steve Harvey shared what transpired when he visited Robert F. Smith, a US based Billionaire.

Now, Robert has a visitation time-frame for every visitor, which is maximum of 30 minutes.

But to Steve's greatest amazement, they spent 7 full hours as against the expected "30 minutes". Though he never knew why that happened.

He said it was one of the most insightful 7hrs of his entire life, because they shared tons of ideas together, and learnt from each other.

However, when he was leaving, he asked Robert's personal assistant:

"Why do you think I was in this man's house for 7hrs, instead of 30mins?

She replied:

"You know why Steve, you're the first person that ever sat with him for 20minutes and didn't ask him for no money".

You see.

Wealthy folks aren't comfortable with those who come to extract money from them.

Most of them would give you money at that instance, but would do everything possible NOT to see you anymore.

Whenever you have the opportunity to visit or talk to wealthy folks.

Don't ever come with money problems, they'd avoid you like an Ebola patient.

Come with solutions, and they'd bring you closer.

These solutions might be related to a slight problem you discovered with their firms, companies, or establishments.

It might suggesting a tech tool to them. It could be just anything that'd grow or add value to their businesses.

Even if they won't use it, it'd make them get comfortable around you and they'd wanna see you more often which will invariably open you to further opportunities with them.

Remember, these folks have their own problems too. Don't add to their burden.

Be smart.
