THE CASE OF DEMONS FROM TELEVISION

Our Team has exorcized a number of houses, rectories, schools, and church buildings. One of the Team members present is usually a gifted spiritual sensitive. Such people can often tell us where the demons are located, what kind of evil spirits they are, and perhaps when they are cast out.

Invariably, demons will be concentrated in areas where sinful, and especially occult, behavior have taken place. For example, we found demons in known places of illicit s*x. We found a demon in the office of a practitioner of Reiki. A possessed person had several in her work space. The worst was an area where occult rituals had been performed and religious statues defaced: it was totally infested!

After doing these exorcisms of a place for some years, I noticed a pattern. In places where there were televisions, regardless of which spiritual sensitive was present, he or she always noted a demon on the main chair in front of the TV. Sometimes I knew the individuals involved in that place and I do not think the majority of them were watching po*******hy or explicitly sinful material. Why then was there almost invariably a demon in that place?

Upon reflection, what we are viewing on our screens today, and what society considers “normal,” is often s*xually arousing and filled with violence. What was considered objectionable only a few decades ago is now considered acceptable for daily viewing. Our society may not consider such material as an opening to evil, but apparently demons do!

Watching such material will not likely result in someone getting possessed, but it will invite demons into one’s home. And the stronger the demons present, the more chaos, conflict and temptations they will sow. The consistent presence of demons in front of televisions ought to make us more conscious and vigilant about what we watch. There are some fine shows on television, but there are many others that are not.

Pray the family Rosary daily instead.

ST JOHN XXIII (November 25, 1881 – June 3, 1963).

Throughout his life, Angelo Roncalli cooperated with God’s grace, believing that the job at hand was worthy of his best efforts. His sense of God’s providence made him the ideal person to promote a new dialogue with Protestant and Orthodox Christians, as well as with Jews and Muslims. In the sometimes noisy crypt of St. Peter’s Basilica, many people become silent on seeing the simple tomb of Pope John XXIII, grateful for the gift of his life and holiness.

On his deathbed, Pope John said: “It is not that the gospel has changed; it is that we have begun to understand it better. Those who have lived as long as I have…were enabled to compare different cultures and traditions, and know that the moment has come to discern the signs of the times, to seize the opportunity and to look far ahead.”

“Good Pope John” died on June 3, 1963. St. John Paul II beatified him in 2000, and Pope Francis canonized him in 2014.

It would be sad to discover in Heaven that God had some gifts, spiritual and material graces, ready for us but we never got them because we never asked for them. Saints are the people who have asked for more. They were like beggars always asking for everything. They never stopped praying because they knew that God loves giving His children what they need. At any time and in every situation they turned to God for all their needs and from Him they got everything they needed. Mary, Help of Christians, help me to never stop praying, never give up asking for what I need.

Facts about the effective power of the Holy Rosary and why you should pray it daily

“The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flight and to keep oneself from sin…If you desire peace in your hearts, in your homes, and in your country, assemble each evening to recite the Rosary. Let not even one day pass without saying it, no matter how burdened you may be with many cares and labors.” –

“When you say your Rosary, the angels rejoice, the Blessed Trinity delights in it, my Son finds joy in it too, and I myself am happier than you can possibly guess. After the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, there is nothing in the Church that I love as much as the Rosary.”

- Our Lady to Blessed Alan de la Roche

"You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary."

- Our Blessed Mother Mary to Blessed Alan de la Roche

"Say the Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world."

- Our Lady of Fatima.

To make this year's synod unique, Pope Francis appointed over 400 participants for the general assembly of the Synod of Bishops on Synodality in October 2023, including clergy, religious sisters, and laypeople from all parts of the world.
This Synod is not conceived to produce more documents but to inspire people to think more about the Church we are called to be, to make the hopes of people flourish, to bring about trust, to heal wounds, to weave new and deeper relationships, to learn from each other, to build bridges, to enlighten minds, warm hearts, and empower our hands for the shared mission.
