*Danger Alert!* *Conscious Muslims, beware!*

Innaa liLlaah wa innaa ilaihi rooji'uun!

There's a viral post flying around, here's the excerpt:

"If you know you are a good Muslim and Allah has blessed you, please don’t sponsor ANY Ramadan program on Radio or Television this year. Use your money to feed people and not Programs. We don’t need your Irun Pipe or Waasi Awe, feed people!
Do not sponsor people to Hajj this year, give the #6,000,000 you will pay for Hajj to 60 families( #100,000 each) and Allah will bless you more.
People need foods now, not Waasi or Trip to Mecca"

And before that, a clip surfaced on social media on the same topic.

May Allaah reward them abundantly, their concerns are very clear and well understood.

But... it would have been better if we can reconstruct that by saying:

*"As you are sponsoring Dawah and Hajj this year, don't forget people are dying of hunger, and feeding is the first priority in Ramadan"*

I think something like this is better and safer.

The righteous scholars don't sleep on that kind of statement, it is dangerous on people's Deen.

We don't condemn Dawah or Hajj sponsoring, we rather correct general mistake of show-off spendings and *make it clear that feeding is the first priority, the first spending in Ramadan is It'aam (feeding).*

If we continue with that kind of campaign, a major foundation of Islam is on danger;
*"ENJOINING WHAT IS RIGHT AND FORBIDDING WHAT IS WRONG"*

Food is the medicine of hunger and admonition is the medicine of soul.

An empty belly is better than empty soul, but full stomach with good understanding of Deen is the best.

Pls let's think deeply.
