It took us months scouting for the right locations for Akiti. From the inner rugged trenches of Agege, to swampy land of Ikorodu. Then come the issue of casting child actors. We were fortunate enough to met coach courage . He gave us access to his budding teenage boxers in training. I bonded instantly with Wariz and Wahab. After about 9 months of training and rehearsals, we finally went for the principal photography of AKITI. This is the journey of Akiti.

AKITI (Monkey) is a true life story of how young innocent boys are groomed to be beast.
