History of Ndoki People In the Country of Ogoni

In the 1800s N-Whee Kaboor was the chief of Korokoroland. He was a multilinguist, he spoke all Ogoni dialect, Igbo and Ibibio. He admitted hunters from Ngwaland, the Ogoni traditional name for the Igbo beyond the Imo River. Korokoro land extended from it present location to the far Northern River known in Korokoro as Maã Omuloolo (Imo River). This land was their hunting, farming and forests dedicated to their gods. But N-Whee Kaboor being a generous man, who likely care for strangers gave seven Ngwa hunters places to stay for their hunting expedition. Before N-Whee Kaboor, the government of the Long Juju and trade has already established strong relationship between the Igbo communities beyond the River and the Ogoni communities on the southern fringes of the River. It was from this relationship he learned their language and travel to many of their cities.

According to tradition the founders of Akwete, Afam Ukwu, etc, met him for hunting ground and soon markets were built on those places for import and export of Igbo and Ogoni products. N-Whee Kaboor had an agreement with them. They were to always send him so quarters of games cought in his forests. This tradition was on until war broke out between them many years after his death. When he was alive, these hunters had serious dispute among themselves and he was summoned to judge the matter. It was during the judgment that he said he who allowed them to dwell on his land made mistake or was he foolish? Then why are they who are stranger struggling overland? That is an Igbo man's heart. He said this in Igbo language. Some believe that it is from this statement the place was locally called Obigbo (the heart of the Igbos). Technically, he used the Ogoni traditional name for the Igbo "gbõ".
Many conflicts had occurred between the inhabitants of this place and the Ogoni communities after the descendants of this seven hunters had established themselves in the place.

Rev. Dr. Fabeke will not die like Ken

Few days ago those who called themselves leaders of Ogoni filed petition against Febeke to federal government because he has successfully done what they could not do.

What is their problem?
What do they want?

It was similar file of petitions against Ken that brought him to death.

Those who support bad people and those who speak against bad thing. Tell them to allow Fabeke to do his own, let them do their own.

They paid money to some people to sabotage his efforts by killing his father, rubbed his office, kidnapped him and instigate among the people that he is a 419.

Why the petition now? It's because they've heard of his success story. Why the petition? Why can't you join him and let him fight for us. No man has ever win a battle they don't know about.

If he is the one appointed by God to liberate Ogoni there is nothing you can do. He's the third star.

Let us share with him our little light to make a greater starlight shines on Ogoni land.

I see no intelligence in that petition, especially against a 419. I see no wisdom and rationale in filing petition against a frauld since he is bound to lose. Because a frauld can never go far.

Just admit that he has better skills and prowess to fight our course.
Let us join force with him and we must win.

OGONI YOUTH LISTEN

It is time we recognized those leaders who have made us poor like this.

Arise and ask questions, seek solution and you will know.

We've been tormented since 1958 when Oil business was initiated on our land. Other land and places where oil are drilled are enjoying, but why is our own different?

You may want to know that some leaders actually monopolized our resources for only themselves. Some leading us in our various communities may not even come from us.

Check well, why MOSOP refused to be United? What did Ken saw before initiating Mosop and did you think Shell and the Federal Government couldn't have done something by now?

Watch, a lot of solutions and recommendations have been made to tackle the Ogoni issues more than any problems in the international human right watch, yet, nothing has happened?

Those who stood between us and Shell and Federal Government would simply not want to involve all of us in the struggle. Because they have made it proverbial that it is not proper to give what belong to the rich to the poor.

They can not and will never succeed IJN, amen. I will like all of us to join force with Rev. Doctor Douglas Fabeke, he is likely the only man with exceptionally prowess to see us through.

With him we can achieve what God has us to be. Our land is us. We are so connected to our environment that what ever we do affect it and the results it produces affect us too.

If we she'd blood of each other, the ground that bears our feet will swallow us, if we killed for politicians and fake hunters of leadership and money all in the name of MOSOP that is long death and gone, we are bringing development that would have come to us backward.

Life is like soil, whatever we sow into it gives results. Sow a good seed today and harvest a good one tomorrow. Don't let this men who called themselves leaders deceive you. There children are not here with us. They've sent them ahead and have double or triple citizenship.

Clean "Up" or Digging Ground?

On Friday early morning I went to Bori for a Business, this is what I discovered in the photo below.

Our atmosphere is entirely polluted with sooth from bonkery, CFC, Carbon monoxide and other toxic substances.

The effects of this pollution is massive. Health hazard, hypertension, heart attack, fish ad animal migration, birds scarcely fly Ogoni sky like it was when we were children, some crops and plants are going into extinction and yet there is a clean up exercise going in Ogoni. Anyway, it is only exercise and not activity.

Where are the concerned people of Ogoni. Let us stop bonkery. Let those cooking oil know that having money without good health is not being rich.

Health is wealth. If our environment which is interconnected in such a web-like pattern is destroyed where are we going to stay? The atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere are all connected to influence the biosphere where we live.

Let us fight for our environment.

Facts That MOSOP does not Exist

- The well known organization called MOSOP was single-handedly founded in 1990 by Kenule Beeson Saro Wiwa. And lasted till 1995 with the death of its pioneer leaders it ended.

- Ken was arrested on his way from Kpite to Luusue Sogho, exactly few meters from the Maagbora Stream. In that vehicle were Ken, Mitee and Goodluck Digbo. Ken was apprehended, Mitee not touched for an unknown reason. Digbo escaped like a deer that sighted a lion from a close range.

- Throughout, Ken's sue to court and sentence, he never announce his successor. In his "complete statement" and in his letter "Africa Killed Her Sun" when under custody, Ken did not made mention of continuity of MOSOP, but his MESSAGE.

- It was after the death of Ken that Mitee assumed the position of MOSOP president. Was any MOSOP election held? Still wondering!

- Now, 1995 till 2019, we witnessed the headship of Mitee, Prof. Ben Naanee and Legborsi Piagbara, until the movement went into disintegration, but what are their achievements?

- Instead of them to value the people more than Mosop to whom MOSOP was made for, they value their position than the collective concern of the people.

- Now, how many sects of MOSOP do we have? Any entity so disintegrated does not exist. Any group that has forgotten their Paramount Goals and Visions for mere political gambling, does not exist.

- Now, anyone calling a Deadwood to rise after the success of the living stone is only trying to raise the dead.

- MOSOP was built after the Model of Mamser, Odudua, etc for the agitation for national recognition. Its success was the Ogoni Bill of Rights and the establishment of Ogoni plight in the international communities.

- Now, let us view a new approach to life. Let us make research and seek ways in which modern nationalism is being steers in the global world.

- the sorry States of things now in Ogoni and the famous quote of the present Ogoni leaders: "ba wee su nu pya kanee ne pya miogon?"

The Summary of Ogoni Bible
(Ogoni Bill of Rights)

Synoptically, the philosophical principles upon which the non-violent, peaceful approach to registering the Ogoni's rightful demands by the then leaders of Ogoni were encapsulated in the undernoted:
- Freedom of Ogoni people from dehumanization towards planned extinction;

- Right to self-determination as a distinct people in the federation of Nigeria;

- Adequate representation as of the right in all Nigerian national institutions;

- The right to use a fair proportion of Economic resources of their land for their development;

- The right to have a say in how their environment is controlled/used;

- Political control of Ogoni affairs by Ogoni people;

- The use and development of Ogoni language in Ogoni territory;

- The full development of Ogoni culture;

- The right to religious freedom, and

- The right to protect the Ogoni environment and ecosystem from further degradation.

These demands were not new in Nigeria, since far back 1914 some ethnic groups already started enjoying it. It was just the time for Ogoni to speak for themselves and for others who could not.

I will take time to break the above demands into their principal stakeholders' responsibility in the next post.

On Wave Fm few minutes Ago

Mitee, Lee Maeba and Olaka forming a delegation over a license they did not fight for. Wike, an Ikwerre man cannot be a leader of any delegation discussing oil exploration in Ogoniland by the Ogonis.

I remembered so well, Ikwerre people have being very selfish of the office of the governor and have denied the Ogonis any glimpse of it.

Wike has contributed nothing to the struggle which the Ogonis have been through.

I want to say this to those who owns them, no elite or politicians who have contributed nothing should form any delegation.

Since 1995 Ken was murdered, these men have being romancing the federal government and shell till now. But let those who have Ogoni at the back of their mind do their job.

The youth of Ogoni have to convened themselves and see the very person who have single-handedly made this possible. Policitians and MOSOP leaders have failed us.

Ken is Pardoned

Some ignorance people claimed that the president should have exonerated Ken instead of Pardon. Between the both terms which is greater?

The ignorant men of Ogoni betrayed Ken by signing some criminal records against him which led to his dead.

Legally, a state pardon is a legal declaration that such documented accusations are forgiven and all records wiped out of existence, so that the accused stand justified forever, as if he has never committed any crime.

But exoneration is a mere disburdening or reduction of punishment that such criminal was supposed to bear.

Presently, by the work of Rev. Dr. Fabeke Douglas Ken's name is cleared from criminal records, yet some MOSOP pastors and evangelists are ignorantly misinterpreting the presidential pardon as if Buhari was responsible for the record piled against him by the enemies of Ogoni development.

Message to the youth of Ogoni, be wise, don't let the dilapidated Mosop umbrella to brainwashed you. It was not stated anywhere that Mosop as a group must liberate the Ogonis.

I have a strong feeling about Rev. Dr. Fabeke. He has the potential to lighten and deliver Ogoni from the paw of Shell and its ecological warfare on our land.
He has successfully brought Shell and FG to Justice for their evil exploitation on our land.
He is presently working on Economic Recovery Plan to bring development in our motherland as stated in the Bible (OBR) of the Ogonis.
The Ogoni compensation is available now waiting on all sons and daughters of Ogoni to be United before distribution and payment.

Therefore, I call on all my brothers and sisters far and near to join the train of Ogoni Liberation Initiative to make this great news realizable.

Remember, Ken did not said MOSOP must delivered Ogoni. MOSOP killed the Ogoni Nine because of their greediness for Nigerian politics, the vultures killed them too with Shell as the tempter and federal government their executional.

Ken in his last filmic presentation in the court said one day Shell shall be found wanting and judged rightly for their evil. Apparently, he did not mention MOSOP as the umbrella under which such redemption must be brought.

This reminded me of Birabii, his struggle was to United the six kingdoms of Ogoni and forming a central government for them to be recognized as a distinct people and he did. He did not used Mosop.

MOSOP was Ken's idea to convey his message to the Ogonis and the world. He successfully paid the price which has delivered Ogoni from the evil practice of Shell. And wrote a guide to the Ogoni struggles - the Ogoni Bill of Right.

Now, the foremost need of Ogoni is Development and Economic recovery which is the theme of the Ogoni Bill of Right. The Ogonis Having a part in the say concerning his environment, natural resources and development. There is no autonomy as such. This is the aim of Ogoni Liberation Initiative.

Arise, let us sieze the moment and see to it. No collection of bribe and support to our enemies. Anyone who fight against the deliverer of Ogoni is an enemy.
