Google is shutting down all websites!!

This has caused a rise in tension amongst business owners.

Especially with how website builders have been going about with this particular news just to get business owners to build a website with them.

I understand the need to make money

And trust me I'm not here to spoil business for you.

Truth is I really wanted to get the full gist and not give some half baked information.

Because I have been using Google hosting to build mini websites and landing pages for people I run ads for and I will still continue with that though I use WordPress and system(dot)io for advanced options.

So I needed to make my findings right and revert to my amazing clients.

Truely, Google has announced to shut down websites under their domain but there's an exception.

Currently google my business is known as google profile and it has the ability to give you a very functional website immediately you set it up and people can reach out to you through that means.

But google said they are shutting it down, reasons best known to them.

But they are not shutting down websites created by sites(dot)google

Please take note of this.

Because I'm sure that's the major part of the frenzy.

So if you're using a website that was created by sites(dot) google and you haven't made plans to migrate to another hosting.

Please stick to that.

Don't let anyone pressure you to spend money you did not budget for.

Just so you know, sites(dot) google and google profile are very different, the latter has business (dot) google as its domain name.

And another thing, if you check the emails google sent out about them shutting down websites, they gave other options you can use and sites(dot)google was listed as one of them.

Google will not list that out if they plan shutting that down too.

Finally, sites(dot) google also have paid plans, you can't access every of their product free, so they can't possibly shut down a part of their income stream.

And like I always say, we are thinking beings, you can go do your own research on this as well and not pick everything I have just written down.

Meanwhile, if you're yet to own a website as a business owner, I sha don't know what you're still waiting for 🌚🌚🌚

This is 2024, someone somewhere around your neighborhood is busy searching google for that product you're selling while you sit around complaining "no customer".

Just two weeks into 2024 and I've gotten over 5 persons I'm currently working with to run ads for their brand and 3 people I'm training on how they can generate sales for their brand through running profitable Facebook ads!

I'm Deborah Koski, an Engineering student in the university of Port Harcourt.

Before I entered the university

I was a nursery school teacher who just left secondary school and needed to pass out time while waiting for admission.

But I never realized the effect of my action untill I was in the university

No hand skill, no much savings.

Just the excitement of finally getting admission and desire to finish school as an engineer

But then reality hit!

I realized it was a hopeless journey, going to class with empty stomach or getting low grades because you couldn't afford to get the essential textbooks before deadlines.

There was a rewakening to make money in school and that was when the zeal to learn a hand skill became intense.

But then, I can't let go of what I have patiently waited for yearsss for, just to go learn some hand skills I might not be sure will give me the desired money I really needed for my upkeep or emergency need.

So guessed what I did it?

Of cause I didn't opt for what you're thinking.

I decided selling, just think of whatsoever people sell.

I sold clothes, shoes, bags, oil perfumes and the list goes on.

I started selling hard, but I had little to nothing as profit at the end of each sales.

My customers were mostly from Facebook.

That was when I realized the power of social media.

How you can use Facebook to sell to people you never know their existence until they order your product.

I decided to learn more about social media management and social media marketing and how to make more profit selling to more people on social media.

Two years down the line I have niche down to helping business owners and companies.

My main aim is to sell business owners product and services to the right audience that need these products and services using the right words, building a converting landing page and running Facebook ads to generate more sales.

This digital skill has helped me not only in taking care of some of my essential needs in school as a student but also put me in position to help business owners make sales.

So when I'm not heavily choked with school activities, I'm planning, building structures, monitoring and optimizing my clients ads to turn in more sales for them.
