What We Learned From Man Utd v Forest:
- Mainoo & Ugarte put in performances deserving of a win.
- Individual errors let Amorim down, gifting Forest. Loss is 100% on the players.
- Dalot 0/9 crosses, need a LWB in January.
- Amad creates chances—when he’s on the ball, the team looks more dangerous.
- The left side was poor: Martinez struggled, and Dalot isn’t suited to LWB. Overloading to get Dalot into key areas doesn’t work when his final ball lacks quality.
- Onana, usually excellent, made costly mistakes today.
- Playing Rashford on the right is a mistake—he needs to be on the left where he’s most dangerous, especially with Dalot struggling.
- The team rushed things in the closing stages, lacking composure to find a breakthrough.
- Lack of creative outlets cost us, feel like only Amad and Bruno can create something.
Forest were not that good yesterday, we gifted them the win through individual errors. Amorim didn't do much wrong, this is 100% on players.
