Intro – No success comes in a vacuum. Every country or state that wants to engage herself in a war against another must prepare herself.
Anyone who wants to go to school, open a business, learn a trade or travel must seat down and ask himself or herself how financially strong he or she is. In this 2024, if you want to manifest, start preparing yourself.

Adequate definition: Sufficient for specific requirement. Good enough. A quality that is good or acceptable.
Preparation definition: The action or process of making things ready for use.
Produce definition: To cause something to exist or happen.
To cause a particular result or effect
Result definition: To happen because of something else that happened or was done before

Things you must do to succeed
Get up from where you are and make noise; God is ready to amplify it, in as much as you are living for God. Everything is living for you.
1. Decide on what to do – Vision (Matt.25:1-11)
2. Take risk – greatness starts from taking a little risk (1 Chron.11:16-17)
3. Have a focus
4. Understand the word of God (Josh.1:8)
5. Apply wisdom (Prov.8:18; Rom.3:13-16)
6. Discover where you failed last time (Lk.15:21)
7. Learn how to make amend (Lk.15:17)
8. Be courageous (Josh.1:7)
9. Pay your tithe/ vow (Mal.3:8; Eccl.5:4-6)
10. Avoid sin (Mal.3:5)
11. Remove Shame

Result of Adequate Preparations
1. You will manifest before many
2. You will be blessing to many
3. You will change the story of your family
4. You will not be beggar anymore
5. People who left you because of past condition will come back to you
6. You will enjoy your services to God

Conclusion: It is where you are, what you are; how you are; and how you can plan to go about what you are; that introduce you to the world or gain you global manifestation or introduction.

The parting of the Red Sea is the prominent act of deliverance in the Old Testament. The Lord pushed back the waters and led Israel through on dry ground. He not only was doing a miraculous deed that displayed his power over creation, but He also freed the Israelite from Egyptian bo***ge. Of three Pharoahs, one is believe to be the one involved in Red Sea problem
1. Amenhotp II
2. Haman
3. Menephah

Friends prepare to crossover the night.
Crossover – Gk “Abar” it is also the same word translated “To Passover” (Jug 11:32). To Travel Through (Num 21:23). To Extend (I Chron 29:30) to go over (1 Sam 14:4) To pass through (Num 21:22).
Therefore, get ready to crossover, to Passover, to travel through, to go over, to extend and pass through in Jesus mighty name.

TWO CROSSOVERS

MOSES CROSSOVER
Moses crossed over from a place of slavery to a place of liberty. Friends, get ready, seen and unseen chains are breaking off from you in your life in Jesus name.

JOSHUA CROSSOVER
Joshua’s crossover was not one from slavery to liberty but it was a crossover from wilderness state to a place of inheritance. In the wilderness one rotates in circles and does not move forward.
Joshua crossed over from no man’s Land to the Promised Land,
Land of your success – Land of freedom – Land of marriage – Land of working and obtaining wages – Land of doing your own business – Land of defeating your enemies
Therefore as you are crossing over to 2024, no devil, no force, no divination, no sorcery can stop you in Jesus name. Pharaoh an all his horses an chariots drowned while pursuing the children of Israel. The forces of darkness against your crossover will be rendered powerless in Jesus name.

Conclusion:
Step into your liberty, enter and possess your inheritance in Jesus name. I declare that it’s “CROSS OVER TIME” your season has changed and you will never be the same again in Jesus Name.

ACTS 16:25

As Christians we are called beyond simple thanks for the good things God has sent our way. We are to give thanks for what he (God) has done for us and for who he is. Scriptures gives so many examples of why we are to be thankful.

WE ARE TO BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN US.
His unfailing love. (Ps 107).
His grace given you in Christ Jesus. (1 Cor 4:1)
Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 15:57)
His righteous laws. (Ps 119:62)
The faith of others to sustain and cheer us. (Phil 1:4)

THANKFUL FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE
He answered our prayers.
He redeemed us.
He qualified us.
He justified us.

THANKFUL FOR WHO HE IS
He is good. His love endures forever.
He is faithful and just. (1 John 1:9)

CONCLUSION
Let’s learn to give God thanks. Training our heart to give thanks does many good things. It gives credit where credit is due. It keeps us from bitterness, arrogance and discouragement. It protects us from letting our lives be defined by what we don’t have. It keeps us humble and reminds us of our need for God.

TOPIC: SPIRITUAL GIFTS, ARE THEY SIGNS OF CHRISTIAN MATURITY?
1 Cor. 13

Intro: Spiritual gifts are supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit given to and through believers. These manifestations of the spirit are intended for the up building and sanctification of the church. The functioning of spiritual gifts without having Gods love is unprofitable.
SPIRITUAL - Spiritual means a feeling or belief that there is something greater than yourself.

GIFT
1. A special ability.
2. A notable capacity, talent or endowment.

MATURITY
The quality or state of being mature or full development.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS (CHARISMATIC GIFTS)
In chapter 13 of Corinthians, Paul shows love as the most excellent way not just to manifest the charismatic gifts, but to live the life. Here Paul mentions a few (Matthew 7:21-23)
1. Speaking in tongues
2. Prophesy
3. Wisdom/Knowledge
4. Faith

WHAT CHRISTIAN CHARACTER IS NOT:
1. It is not envious or jealous
2. it is not boastful.
3. It is not puffed up.
4. it is not hateful.
5. It is not stealing.
6. it is not killing.

WHAT CHRISTIAN CHARACTER IS:
1. Love
2. Caring for one another.
3. Rejoicing with others.
4. Overcoming evil with good.
5. Speaking the truth all the time.
6. Enduring all things.
7. It does not keep record of wrong.
8. It does not behave indecently.
9. Patience
10. Kindness

CONCLUSION
Those whose lives are filled with “religious activities” (including tongues, prophesy and great works of faith) but have not charity (love) are lacking in knowledge of true spirituality. God is not impressed with religious works, without love, it all as up to nothing in his eyes. (Matt 25:31-46; 7:21-23)

Topic: Giving God the Best
Text: Gen 4:3-5; 8:20-22

Introduction:
God is the greatest giver of all, with no mortal limitations, no imperfect motivations and with no questionable intentions. His giving is selfless, merciful and expressive and He loves in ways the recipients would normally never consider. The Apostle Paul confirms this in Phil 4:9 “and my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. God has given us life, breath, sun, moon, rain, vegetation’s, etc. Therefore we owe him the best from us.

What is Giving ?
Giving – Is an adjective – The present participle of give.
Giving is the tendency to give generously.
It also means providing something to someone.
It also means to donate.

What is Best ?
Best – is a noun. The superlative of good. It is a supreme effort one can make. E.g. I did my best.
Best also means the most excellent.

Types of Giving
1. Acceptable giving - Abel (Gen 4:4-5).
2. Generous giving – Dorcas, Cornelius (Acts 10:2, 9:36).
3. Unacceptable giving – Cain (Gen 4:5).
4. Sacrificial giving – Abraham (Gen 22:9-10).
5. Voluntary giving – Solomon (1 Kings 3:4-5).
6. Forceful giving (Deut 12:17).
7. Conditional giving (Luke 6:38).
8. Cheerful giving (2 Cor 9:7)

Six benefits of giving the best to God
1. When you give the best to God, your heart will be filled with happiness & joy.
2. Your conscience will be at peace
3. You will be satisfied.
4. God will reward you as never before.
5. Giving the best attracts generational blessings.
6. Giving is an investment for eternity. (1 Tim 6:18-19).

When we give generously and sacrificially, it is not because God needs anything, but because we want to show our love for Him. Giving is an expression of obedience but also of gratitude, trust and increasing joy. God seeks out and recognizes those who worship Him through giving the best.

1. Ellicott’s commentary for English Reader - If father can’t stop the girl from marrying her choice since she is grown.

2. Benson Commentary – Celibacy is good but if the part involved can’t stay. The father should release his daughter to marry.

Intro: Harvest is a time when you reap what you sow. Also, it is a season of gathering ripe and mature crops, fruits and other life stock.

TYPES OF HARVEST IDENTIFIED IN THE SCRIPTURE
1. Harvest of soul winning John 4:34-36, Luke 10:2
2. Harvest of sinful reward Gal 6:7-8
3. Harvest of God’s making Genesis 8:20-22
4. The harvest of judgement. Matt 13:24-30

THINGS THAT WILL YIELD YOU A FRUITFUL HARVEST
1. Investing in your children, wife and family. Ps 128:3, Ps 127:3
2. Investing in Gods vineyard. Matt 6:19-20
3. Investing in your career John 12:24
4. By sowing both in the morning and evening Eccl 11:6
5. By committing your works to God Prov. 16:3
6. By obeying God’s word. Isa 1:19

THINGS THAT WILL ROB/DENY YOU FRUITFUL HARVEST
1. A little sleep, a little slumber and a little folding of hands. Prov 24:33.
2. Burying your talent or failure to maximize your potentials. Matt 25:18
3. When you rob God in your tithes and offerings. Malachi 3:8-9

BENEFITS OF FRUITFUL HARVEST
1. It rules against casting down and upholds lifting up. Job 22:29
2. It gives birth to great joy, both here on earth and in heaven. Luke 15:7
3. It makes you eat plenty and get satisfied. Job 2:26

CONCLUSION:
The harvest of this earthly crops and other life stocks will soon fade off and the chief Harvester, the Lord of harvest our Lord Jesus Christ will return to harvest the righteous dead first, and together with the righteous living.
Therefore, let us not be weary in well-doing, good work, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. Gal 6:9-10.

Intro: Environment – The conditions that surround someone or something. The conditions and influences that affect the growth, health, progress etc. of someone or something .
Influence – A person that affects someone in an important way.

BRIEF HISTORY OF CORINTH
Corinth before 5th century BC had become a famous Greek city, until 146BC. It was destroyed by the Romans under L Mumminus. After about a century, Julius Caesar rebuilt the city and made it the capital city of Achaia and retired Roman soldiers and freed men and slaves from Greece, Syria, Palestine and Egypt. The City had three harbours, therefore it attracted business men and women to come in and leave. The city had Acrocorith with the temple of Aporodite, the Greek goddess of love and life. Poseidon, the patron of the Isthmian games, were the chief dieties of the city. The influence of the dieties and different cultures made pluralism and syncretism gain ground in Corinth. Aristophanes coined the word “Corinthianzo”

4. Those who are of Christ claim that human leadership is inferior that Christ is all things.
BASES FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY – 1 COR 1:15-17
1. Christ is not divided.
2. Crucifixion – was Paul crucified for you?
3. Were you baptised in the name of Paul?
4. The gospel is not the wisdom of this world but the power of God into salvation.

Communion-ship with God is an intimate relationship with God. This can also be said to be having fellowship with God.
Communion-ship is God acknowledging you as his son/daughter.
It also means to worship and praise God for who he is.
It means to serve God for who he is (John 14:15).

- As often as you pray, study the word and meditate on it.

WHO CAN COMMUNION WITH GOD
1. A born again believer.
2. A heavenly minded believer.
3. Everyman created in the image of God should communion with God.

HOW CAN ONE HAVE COMMUNION-SHIP WITH GOD
1. Be humble and disciplined.
2. Your heart must be pure and free from distractions. 1 Sam 3:1-5.
3. You must devote yourself to worship and meditation.
4. You must be transparent and sincere.
5. You strive to be trusted by both God and man in discharging your responsibility.

FACTOR THAT AFFECT OUR COMMUNION-SHIP WITH GOD
1. The lust of the eyes.
2. The lust of the flesh.
3. Anxiety.
4. Business/ Work.
5. Indiscipline, lack of self-control.
