SAD: Nigerian folklorist, songwriter, and musician - Mike Ejeaga Dies @ 95 Years.

He hailed from Enugu State. He was born in Imezi Owa in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State. Mike's folktale song 'Enyi na aga na anyi so gi na azu' came alive again after 41 years of its release following Content Creator, Brain Jotter's use of the song in his Content last year.

The late Music Legend has since been visited multiple times by top personalities; former Governor of Enugu State, Ugwuanyi, current Governor of the State, Peter Mbah who named a project after him, Brain Jotter, Kcee and others.

May his soul rest in peace 🙏

As we are speaking now, the old man’s now has 100k streams after DAVIDO used the song and the old man went further to say he will sing his music and walk around in those days begging people to buy his CD 💿 but after DAVIDO used his song, he is now getting money from the streams of the song without walking around again.

DAVIDO just made an old man smile by making him enjoy the fruits of his labour…. Kudos OO1. ✊❤️🎉

Alot of people do ask me, why should they go into agwu while it's always refer to be bad hence onye ga arapu ebe ana echi ozo gaba ebe ana aru Agwu.. (is Agwu not bad)?

I decided to explain...

That saying is to emphasize that ebe a na echi ozo is where you go, eat and drink, and it is equally where you go and enjoy yourself because those involved there have already worked and now enjoying

But

Ebe a na aru Agwu is where works is been done, where varieties of Spiritual works are been handled.

It signifies where one goes to work not that it's evil...

It's our tradition , live it and know peace..
