This will be a little bit long but please read to the end.... Few days ago a girl walked up to me and told me that she was about seeing her period, then she started crying. I was curious so I asked her, why are you crying? Period is a normal thing. She said she has no money to buy pad, that she uses pieces of loose clothes and it makes her stink and stains will always be visible when she's wearing it. I felt bad, imagine a girl talking to a guy about such experience, it was so painful that tears stood in my eyes, then she started narrating how she does not even have proper un**es and she's just a girl with no parents that struggle to fend for herself, at this point I was moved to tears, she was already crying profusely, I told her not to cry anymore, I brought out some money and gave her. She thanked me so much and left.... Days later I was to go see my friend at Aluu, Uniport road, and I felt someone taped me I turned and it was the girl, she was so excited an wanted to give me a portion of fruits she was hawking, but I said no that she needed the money more than me....

Long story cut short is that a whole lot of girls are suffering this particular issue in the streets and surroundings every single day.... Jan 3rd is my birthday and I want to celebrate it with this young girls in the streets by gifting them pads and other toiletries, I don't want to spend my day in a bar buying drinks for friends and getting drunk and wasting money...
