Today, I lost my favorite uncle that has been sick for close to one year now. First news I got this early morning was about his death. My heart kept beating so fast and deep down my heart I wished it was a dream, wishing to wake up from this awful dream again.

Few months ago, say 3-4months ago, I dreamt about his death, woke up in the middle of the night around past 1am, called my mum immediately and told her about it. It felt soooo real.

My mum is his elder sis. Invariably, he is my maternal uncle. And he doesn't joke with her. I called my mum around 1am, She said they(Her and some family members) are at his house praying for him as at that time. He was seriously sick. I cried that night like never before while praying, I couldn't bear to loose my Uncle, No! I just couldn't imagine the thought. No way! I fasted, prayed and later travelled down to Anambra to visit him in the hospital.

He was just a shadow of himself, I cried inwardly when I met him at NAUTH, Nnewi. I was just speechless, this wasn't my Uncle I use to know. We chatted and he said he was getting better, unlike before. I said a silent prayer, asked God to avert that evil dream. We bade our farewells and went back to my base that same day, little did I know that was going to be our last meeting.

Money was spent, emotions rolled, family members were there for him during this trying time. He was a good man with a good heart. He loved humanity, he loved family, he tried to carry everyone along.

He really fought to stay alive, we also fought in our different capacities to keep him alive. I never stopped praying for him. He tried to stay alive atleast for his family. His last child is barely 1, although she came in at a time we thought they were done with child bearing.

He FOUGHT! He really FOUGHT! But God knows the best. God has taken away his pains I believe, the pain was just too much.

The first time I visited him in his house, he was struggling to hold a conversation with me. I noticed it! He tried catching his breath at intervals, I saw the pain, the weakness and all that. He didn't deserve to go this way! He was a GOOD MAN wey no like wahala but still, God knows what's best.

I still can't bring myself to say REST IN PEACE! I hope and long for a miracle, who knows, he might just be in coma. He might wake up soon and come back to his family. Yes!

And guess what? Today is his wife's birthday 😭😭😭😭. How would she even mourn the death of her husband on her birthday. This world is just full of mysteries.

I don't find it comfortable seeing people who know the situation of things still wishing her a happy birthday on her wall. 😔😔...

I am really pained. I've just been having a lot of thoughts in my head since I got this news, but who are we to question God🤷🤷🤷

I know death is inevitable and it's a price mankind must pay. But let this due come at the right time, probably at an old age. This due came way too early.

All I have to say is, 'IT IS WELL, THIS TOO SHALL PASS'.

Good people still exist. I was actually surprise this came from a bike man. I mistakenly over paid him when I was rushing to board a bus. This guy realized I over paid him and hurriedly followed me, flagging the bus down just to refund the extra money.

Wawuuuuuu😳😳😳

He could possibly have taken the money, pocket it and find his way.
