đ¸ A Mother Who Never Stopped Praying đ¸
There was once a woman named Miriam. She was not famous. She was not wealthy. She was simply a mother.
Miriam raised her children with love, sleepless nights, and countless sacrifices. She went hungry so they could eat. She worked with tired hands so they could go to school. She prayed over them when they were young, whispering their names to God before the sun rose and after the sun had set.
But as the children grew older, their hearts grew distant.
They forgot the nights she stayed awake nursing them.
They forgot the meals she skipped so they could be fed.
They forgot the prayers that had carried them through storms.
One by one, they turned away.
And when they were married, they no longer called her.
Her voice became an echo they didnât want to hear.
She was left aloneâher house silent, her heart aching.
Most women would have given up.
Most would have said, âThey have abandoned me, so I will abandon them.â
But not Miriam.
Instead, she knelt.
Every day, she knelt.
With tears falling on the floor, she prayed:
âLord, I carried them in my womb,
I carried them on my back,
Now I carry them in prayer.
Where my hands cannot reach them,
Let Your hands guide them back.â
Years passed. Seasons changed. Wrinkles carved her face. Still, she prayed.
And one day⌠something happened.
Her eldest sonânow a man with children of his ownâcould not sleep. A memory came flooding back: the sound of his motherâs voice singing hymns in the night. His heart broke. He wept. He remembered her love.
Soon, her daughters felt the same stirring.
One by one, her children returned.
They came not just to visit, but to kneel before her and say, âMama, forgive us. We forgot you. But we realize nowâit was your prayers that kept us alive.â
The Bible says in Proverbs 31:28, âHer children arise and call her blessed.â
That day, Miriamâs children truly called her blessed.

This story reminds us of the power of a praying mother.
Even when rejected, even when forgotten, she did not give up.
She turned her pain into prayer, and God turned her prayer into power.
So, dear womenânever underestimate your prayers.
You may not see instant results, but heaven is listening.
And one day, those you love will rise and call you blessed.
