DON'T SHUT THEM UP!

Allow your kids to ask questions.

Allow them to ask why the sky is blue.

Allow them to ask why mum has to work from Monday to Friday and sometimes on Saturday.

Allow them to ask why we use paper to buy food instead of just growing it ourselves.

Allow them to ask questions about anything and everything.

Leaders are thinkers.

They are people who dare to ask relevant questions.

When your child asks questions, it means they have a mind of their own.

It shows they are learning to think independently.

Don’t take that gift away from them.

Instead, mould them with the right answers and watch them grow into confident, curious, and wonderful leaders.

I am teacher Ruth, and l desire to see the next generation do much better than our generation.

YOU CAN DO IT!

You may think as a mom of two who is working full time, that I had extra time to complete my books and have them published at the same time, no, it wasn't so!

I was faced with plenty of distractions and countless disruptions?

But something kept me going, and that thing is named ''passion''.

You become unstoppable when passion is involved.

Passion has a way of fueling the human spirit, even when everything else around you says, “stop!"

There were nights I wanted to give up, but the fire inside me said, “don't try it!"

I would then say to myself, Just one more page Ruth, you can not start and not finish.”

You have to break the pattern!

You have to rewrite history.

The passion and the vision l have enabled me in this journey.

That fire carried me through sleepless nights and weary mornings.

It reminded me that no dream is too hard when your heart is determined to see it come alive.

To anyone struggling with distractions right now, biko, don’t quit!

A passionate mind can not be silenced.

Passion will carry you when strength fails.

Just Keep going!

You’re closer than you think.

Above all, it is God who gives the power to start and to finish.

He is the one who plants the seed in us.

May you receive the strength to complete that inspiring and life transforming project that you have started in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

THE STRUGGLE BEHIND THE PAGES OF MY BOOKS.

Writing my books was not an entirely smooth ride.

As a mother of two young children who need my attention for every little thing, I often find myself torn between motherhood and authorship.

There were midnights when I sat on my writing table, piecing together words into pages depriving my eyes and body the pleasure embedded in a proper sleep.

Sometimes, from 8 pm to 7am, I stayed glued to one spot, pouring my heart onto my work.

It wasn’t easy. Sometimes, my babies would cry in the middle of the night, looking for me, and many times, I paused to wipe my tears along with theirs.

Yes, there were times I really cried because the flow of my writing was disrupted as a result of this interuption.

Yes, there were times I felt frustrated, but that didn't deter me from continuing.

But through every distraction, one thing never changed, and that was my determination.

A determined mind does not stop, and passion makes the impossible possible.

I will not tell you I did it all. It was God who had helped me.

All praise be unto Him.

I recently came across a post asking about the best way for teachers to dress.

Sadly, some people responded with belittling photos that portrayed teachers in a disrespectful way.

But let’s be clear: teaching is one of the noblest professions.

In fact, I call it the mother of all professions. Every other career begins with a teacher.

Teachers deserve respect, and we, too, must respect ourselves.

As teachers, we must always recognize who we are: foundation layers, nation builders, destiny shapers, transformers, the producers of doctors, lawyers, nurses, scientists, politicians, and even presidents.

Truly, our profession is and will always remain the mother of all professions.

I love teaching, and I will continue on this path because I am called to impact and transform lives positively.
That’s why I will never belittle myself for any reason.

So, dear teachers, dress modestly, with nobility and reverence for your profession.

Carry yourself with dignity because you are nation builders.

I LOVE YOU, DEAR NATION BUILDERS ❤️
