Naomi Campbell Welcomes Second Child At 53

British supermodel, Naomi Campbell, has welcomed her second child at the age of 53.

She shared the news on her Instagram account on Thursday saying 'it's never too late to become a mother'.

OPEN LATTER TO THE NPC AD-HOC STAFF RECRUITMENT TEAM

Subject: Complaint about Manipulation of Approved Applicants' Names and Collection of Money

Dear NPC Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment Team,

I am writing to express my frustration and concern about the ongoing issue of manipulation of approved applicants' names and collection of money by your agency. It has come to my attention that many legally approved applicants have been left out of the list in cycletion due to their names being replaced with others who have paid a bribe to change their names. This manipulation of the system is unacceptable and goes against the values of fairness and transparency in recruitment.

I call upon your agency to investigate this issue and take the necessary measures to prevent further manipulation of the system. This issue has caused a great deal of frustration and anxiety for many legally approved applicants who feel that their hard work and qualifications have been ignored in favour of those who are willing to pay to change their names.

I urge you to take swift action to correct this problem and ensure that all applicants are treated fairly and equally in the recruitment process.

I had a very big and painful boil on my a**s. I called my husband and complained. We are in a different state because of work.

I didn’t know that my husband told his mum and she visited to check me. She is not a doctor and not a nurse. When she came she asked me to open my legs so she can check it. She also said she will grind beans, mix it with palm oil and akanwu and apply on it.

I refused her check up and the mixture he wanted to apply on it. l told her I can’t open my legs for her. She left that same day cos her house isn’t too far from ours.

After two days, the pain became unbearable and the boil grew bigger that l couldn't walk, sit or poo.

I had to call my ex boyfriend who is a medical doctor and told him about it. He invited me to his clinic but I told him I will prefer he comes to my house.

He came and I was lying down on my couch, removed my pant and raised my gown up as he was examining me, coincidentally, my mother in law entered.

I didn’t lock the door cos I wasn’t expecting anybody and the procedure won’t even take time according to the Doctor.

Now, I don’t know what my mother in law told his son. My husband has not picked my call for two days.

I remember he has warned me to cut all ties with my ex but this is a medical issue for Christ’s sake.

My husband sent me a text and told me to pack my things and go back to my ex that he is coming on Saturday and wouldn’t want to see me in his house.

I really do not understand why he is overreacted because I didn't do anything wrong. I only received medical treatment.

How to make sweet zobo drink
Ingredients
1) zobo leaves
2) sugar
3) pineapple and cucumbers
4)ginger
5) Any flavour of your choice
Method
1) set your big pot on fire and pour enough quantity of water
2) wash your zobo leaves in a cold water to remove dirt( don't leave it in the water for long, just put it in the water and quickly use your hand to shake it and remove it from the water)
3) pour the zobo leaves in your pot. Add your sliced pineapple, ginger, sliced cucumbers and cover it till it has boiled very well and the water has changed to a red wine colour
4) remove the pot from the fire and separate the zobo liquid from the leaves. put the zobo liquid aside cover it and leave it to cool
5) after it has cool add your sugar and flavour in the desired quantity but don't let the sugar and flavour to be too much in the zobo
6) package it in your bottles and put in it the fridge
Serve chill
Note: you should wash and peel the back of the pineapple if you want but if you don't want you can just wash the back very well, sliced it , and add it to the zobo like that ( it depends on how you want it).
Making of zobo for selling is very lucrative because people like it very well and some prefer It to other drinks. You may decide to start your own zobo business you can sell it together with either doughnuts, chin chin, mini cakes etc and make your money. All you need is to learn how to do it very well and how to market it. If your zobo it sweet and taste better than that of others it will stands out and before you know it people will begin to patronize you.

Bread Recipe:

Ingredients :

5 cups of flour
1/3 sugar
5 spoon butter
2 tablespoons of yeast
3 spoon of powder milk
2 eggs
Pinch of salt
Warm water

Directions :

After mixing all the dry ingredient, add butter and mix well, add your warm water and knead well on a flat surface and cover for 1hour, it will double in size. Bring it out punch it and knead for another 5 minutes.Then cut into pan in desired shape and cover for 30-45 minutes. Then bake. Baking takes less than 30 min
NB: secrete to the fluffy texture is kneading, knead well

OPINION: Was Nasarawa Actually Created To Compensate The Muslims?

Until the lion learns to speak, the tales of the hunt will always glorify the hunter. (African proverb).

Its saddened to read some replies from one of my earlier post as boosted by Nasarawa Mirror, “OPINION: One Day, Will They Say 'No Christian Even Fit To Be Deputy Governor In Nasarawa'?”. The replies truly shows how malnourished and deficient most of our youths are in Nasarawa State to even read and know why the state was created and I don't blame them, some are lied to believe such fallacy. I think the earlier we educate our people on issues regarding religion tolerance the better for a common front.

Have you ever imagine if this things where the other way round, where the Christians are the once dominating the entire system, would things be the same as this?

While I hate to discuss issue of religion which I consider more personal than general, I am forced to write due to some concerns and misconception of some young youths who are just growing up.

Was Nasarawa State actually created to compensate the Muslims? Or was it the agitation by the people of the upper Plateau to bring governance close to the people?

Did Abacha actually put the capital in Lafia as against Akwanga because he want to compensate the kanuris or it's the hand work of some few who are privileged to be in the national conference?

Home made yoghurt.
it's Natural, Healthy & Tasty.

Recipe
1. Powdered Milk------ -------500g
2. Water -----------4liters
3. Yoghurt culture---10g
(You can also use fresh unsweetened natural yoghurt as your culture to make your own homemade delicious yoghurt.)
4.sugar--------------to taste
5. Vanilla flavour or any other flavour of your choice

Procedure
1. Dilute the milk with the water in a bowl and transfer the mixture into a pot

2. Bring the diluted milk to a boil, bring down from fire, pour into a bowl that has cover but don't cover immediately, allow it to become warm, not totally cold. ( the essence of boiling is to get ride of germs).

3. When the milks is warm, pour the yoghurt culture/starter in a little plate, pour a little quantity of the boiled milk in to the culture/starter, dilute it and then pour it back into the main milk.

4. Cover it and keep in a warm place, where it will not be disturbed and allow it to ferment for 10 -12 hours or preferably over night.

5. When it properly ferments (i.e) the next day, open the bucket and stir, if it's too thick, you can add more water to it.

6. Add you sugar to taste and vanilla flavor or any other flavor of your choice, stir well to combine to whole ingredients properly and then sieve to remove the chaff.

7. Your yoghurt is ready for consumption, so easy to make. You can put in the fridge cos it's best served chilled.

Deliver Nigeria, Peter Obi Prays At Dunamis Church

Labor party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Friday night, prayed for Nigeria on his visit to Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja.

Holding a Nigerian flag, while on his knees, he prayed for Nigeria saying, “God we have no other country except this one, God deliver us, God heal us, God librate us, we have no nation except this one, God deliver us.”

Obi was on the platform with Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State and the First Lady of Delta State, Edith Okowa and a pastor, who also prayed for Nigeria.

Dunamis Church is pastored by Dr Paul Enenche.

Wike Denies Claims Atiku Reached Out To Him

The governor of Rivers State and former presidential aspirant, Nyesom Wike, has refuted claims that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has reached out to him since the end of the party’s primary election in May.

The duo contested the PDP presidential ticket which Atiku eventually won. Since then, there have been claims that the Atiku camp had reached out to Wike to resolve their differences, which worsened with the announcement of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State as Atiku’s running mate.

Wike spoke on Friday at the Port Harcourt International Airport shortly after he returned from a foreign trip.

He said, “After 31st of May, not one person has come to talk to me. It is most unfortunate when people tell lies. Some senators called me that Atiku Abubakar sent Saraki to me.

"That is not correct. I was in Spain. Bukola came to me and said, ‘My brother, how do we settle this problem?’ I asked ‘Did Atiku send you?’ He said no. I said, ‘Look at the issues.’ And he said that the matter is serious.

“He didn’t know of the issues. Atiku has never…Forget about sending rent-seekers and scavengers around him. Some of them would even call my friends and say, “Ol boy, tell your guy nau, make e support us’. It has been reduced to that level. I have become ‘guy’. I have never seen where serious minded people would reduce issues like this to this level.”

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has reacted to all issues that played out during and after the presidential primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Recalls that the primary election produced former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar as the party’s 2023 Presidential candidate.

Wike who spoke on Friday at the Port Harcourt International Airport in the Rivers State shortly after he returned from Spain, described the former Vice President as a liar.

He stated “I told my special adviser on Media that am going to speak on issues. We know in this part of our world when lies are been contorted, it becomes a fact.

“I have always believed when the left speaks, allow the right to also speak. We are not getting younger and as days passes we get older.

“So is important when issues are raised or when speeches are made, one should be able to say this the part of my story so that the public we know the truth.

“It is most unfortunate since after our primary I have decided to be quiet because is a party I love so much. I never said anything, I decided to go back home and fulfilled the promises I made to the people of Rivers State.

“But there comes a time I need to speak and let Nigerians know the actual truth. Having known the truth, whatever they decide to do with it is left for them.

“When the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar unveiled his running mate, know right thinking person and a lover of this party will say that the speech he made on that day was fair.

“Forget about his hailers, the scavengers and I never reacted to it. I said, no this party belongs to all of us.

“Thereafter Atiku appeared on Arise TV, see the statement he made. So many lies were told and then you said I should not react to some of those issues. That will not be fair.

“Assuming today am not alive, obviously what he has said will be accepted as the truth”.
