The Presidential Election Petition Court led by Justice Haruna Tsammani has reserved ruling till Monday on the application by Peter Obi and the Labour Party for live-streaming of the proceedings of the court. The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has explained why the Labour Party (LP) and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, haven’t been granted access to the documents they are requesting. Speaking at the presidential election petitions court on Wednesday, May 17, INEC’s counsel, Abubakar Mahmoud, said Obi and LP refused to pay the N1.5million demanded to access the requested documents.
