A CLARION CALL TO THE NEW ELECTED NANS PRESIDENT.
Congratulation to the meritorious new elected President of National association of Nigerian students (NANS), the number one Nigeria student elected as a delegate to control the affairs of the organization for the next one year, Comrade Sunday Asafon, on behalf of all Nigerian students I wish you a fantastic and amazing tenure. As you become an appropriator NANS President, you will never be condemned. Shall you enrich in knowledge, moral and wisdom to embark this era, you shall prosper.
On behalf of all Nigerian students I highly solicit for your support and firmness on the ongoing catastrophe that Nigerian students are facing currently.
As we all know that Nigeria Universities have been closed since early of the year and some schools especially federal University are yet to resume, initially because of the so-called Covid-19 pandemic and finally ASUU strike. According to Yoruba adage which says "owo to dile ni irore so" it is approximately 9 months now that we have been at home, many students have turned the other way round. Many are being partaken in so many bad activities that they can never imagine if they were in school like; rubbing, kidnapping, gambling e.t.c and if fast action is not taking on this issue, no doubt the future of this country is on high danger, because we students/Youths are the future of this country.
Please, stand up with your influence and power on our behalf to challenge the authority of our Government and Leadership. They are playing with our life, they are cracking jokes and riddles with our Education, they have turned our future to gamble. They are selfish, they aren't concerned about us.
They opened all other sectors of life and left the educational sector aside, why? They opened those sectors that are profitable for them and left us behind.
Our future, life and vision are at a high risk, come to our aid, serve as our savior, stand up with an audacious heart and fight for our dreams and vision without procrastinating. We trust you as a sagacious and intellectual man.
If you can sanction this request, all Nigerian students will be very grateful and this will also be one among your unforgettable tasks. We trust you and have optimism that this is going to be a triumph, please act fast.
