I am very happy over the awareness I've created 48 hours ago. The likes of Jeff Bezos and many others have reacted. Questions are now been asked about the "British Empire".

Factually, Ojukwu and Gowon had a meeting in Ghana, to avert this sad history. But because the British empire which is now under the leadership of King Charles lll were paranoia, they influenced Gowon to go ahead simply because they don't want another Japan in Africa.

The history books are there. "There was a country" by Chinua Achebe is there for facts!. "The Biafra story" by Frederick Forsyth and many others.

Let me also state it once again that my family was a victim. There is no family in Igbo land who did not had a share of this sad history. Till this day, there's no apology...

BREAKING!!! Labour Party ready to negotiate with Wike – Chieftain reveals

A chieftain of the Labour Party, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, has said the party’s leadership is making plans to woo the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, and other aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party and All Progressives Congress leaders to support the party’s presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, ahead of the 2023 general election.

Ozigbo, who was the governorship candidate of the PDP in the Anambra State governorship election, stressed that the LP would be ready to enter into an alliance with Wike, and some other willing state governors to gain their support for Obi’s presidential bid in their respective states.

He spoke on the sidelines of the Labour Party’s stakeholders’ meeting, in Awka, on Friday and urged the electorate to shun vote trading and vote for Obi because he could solve the humanitarian problems facing the country, such as youth unemployment, poverty, ethnic restiveness and insecurity...

DSS Found Over N2bn With Gumi's Partner, Mumi Who Has Link With Terrorists In Egypt, Gaza

Tukur Mamu, the Kaduna-based publisher was arrested on Tuesday by security operatives in Cairo, Egypt for his alleged involvement in collecting ransom and taking same to terrorists in exchange for kidnapped victims, Daily Trust gathered from reliable security sources.

Some of the security sources said beyond his relationship with insurgents in Nigeria, Mamu was also arrested because of his “Strong ties with a terror group in Sinai area in Egypt”.

Sinai Peninsula is the northeastern extremity of Egypt and adjoins Israel and the Gaza Strip on the east. Like in Nigeria, despite the decrease in the frequency of attacks in recent years, militants remain active and pose a serious threat to Egyptian security operatives and other symbols of Sinai.

Mamu denied wrongdoing saying he was on a legitimate journey to Saudi Arabia.

The Kaduna publisher, who was involved in the controversial negotiations that led to the release of several abducted passengers of the March 28 Abuja-Kaduna train attack, was arrested together with his family by operatives of the Department of State Services (SSS) shortly after he was repatriated to Nigeria from Egypt.

A source in one of the intelligence outfits in Nigeria said Mamu’s arrest was beyond his activities in Nigeria.

“He was arrested in Egypt based on Advance Passenger Information (API) because he came under international security scrutiny following his activities here at home and beyond the shores of Nigeria shortly after the Kaduna train attack,” he said.

“I can assure you that Mamu has high linkage with terror groups in Egypt, especially in Sinai and by extension Libya, the Sahel and other parts of West Africa on this side, and the middle- east on the other side.

“He has collected over N2bn in ransom for terrorists with some of the payments made in US dollars by desperate families and negotiated the release of their loved ones…We have been monitoring all his activities and evidence abound to hold him to account,” he said🙏

Jeff Bezos Knocks Nigerian-born US Professor Over Queen Elizabeth's Tweet

Billionaire, Jeff Bezos, has slammed a Nigerian-born US professor, Uju Anya, for her tweet on the late Queen Elizabeth II.

While the queen was under medical supervision at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, Anya, had expressed her wish for the queen to have an ‘excruciating’ death.

The tweet has now been removed by Twitter but still generating reactions on the platform.

The Amazon founder quoted Anya’s tweet and said, “This is someone supposedly working to make the world better?”

Anya, a Carnegie Mellon professor defended her tweet and responded to Bezos, "May everyone you and your merciless greed have harmed in this world remember you as fondly as I remember my colonizers."

2023: Ready For Protests If Another Northerner Becomes President – Niger Delta Forum Warns

The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), one of the foremost socio-political groups in the South-South region has warned that Nigeria will no longer be what it has been if another northerner emerges president in 2023.

PANDEF said it had also met with the United Kingdom and Dutch governments and registered its warnings ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The National Publicity Secretary, PANDEF, Ken Robinson, made this known when the organisation paid the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, a consultative visit on Tuesday in Abuja.

The group who has been vocal against another northerner succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari after eight years of “sectional government”, vowed to mobilise Nigerians to reject the emergence of another northern president in 2023.

"When the campaign starts, we will mobilise ourselves, speak to good Nigerians in Northern Nigeria and in Southern Nigeria why the next president of Nigeria should come from the Southern part of Nigeria.

“Anything short of that, and we are not saying this as a threat, yes, we were in a meeting with people from the Dutch Embassy, three days ago I was in a meeting with the British High commissioner, and we told them this thing that Nigeria will no longer be what it has been if the next president goes North," the group warned.

The group however, noted that planned to organize people from Niger Delta creeks to clampdown on the alleged injustice against Southern Nigeria.
“The statement is not a threat. And we are serious. We will mobilise our people in the creeks, in the farm lands to the streets across Nigeria to work together.

Atiku, Obi, Tinubu To Speak On Economic Blueprint For Nigeria At LCCI Forum

The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is set to hold the 2022 edition of its private sector economic forum ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

According to a statement issued by the chamber, the forum is scheduled to hold on three separate dates at the Commerce House, Victoria Island, Lagos.

LCCI said the forum would provide a first-hand opportunity for presidential candidates of the three leading political parties to speak to the organized private sector on their economic blueprint for Nigeria.

Atiku Abubakar, former vice-president of Nigeria and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is expected to speak on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 9.30 am; Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) is scheduled to speak on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 9.30 am while Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), would speak on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 9.30 am.
