But from a carnal perspective. The purpose of a thing is defined by the one that made the thing. So there is no purpose outside the the archives of God.
Today is a day that the lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it.
Remember it is the lord that has made it not the devil. So you have no business with sorrow.
Their sorrows shall be multiplied, that hasten after other gods

The battle is a battle of things seeking to earn your loyalty.
Everything that commands you loyalty automatically becomes your god. So if what you submit your self to is money, then money becomes your god. And you might think you are doing well but the more you hasten after all these things, the scripture says your sorrow continues to multiply.
Don't waste your life time pursuing what only God himself can give you.
We insist on God. When you have him, you have wealth, you have every thing in him.
But if you keep pursuing all these things differently, then you will waste your destiny. Everything is in christ.
