Set against the backdrop of the Nigeria Civil War, the book intimately explores unity in the context of family, and the thin thread that binds most together.

No philanthropy could match the training of a child. In so doing, you enlighten a soul, you give hope to a family, you set up a generation to progress.

This is exactly what Chief Andy Evulocha has done with over 500 copies of recommended children's story books gifted to pupils of Central School Ihitte-Aforukwu.

Amara is a story about girl child education. It's about a young girl who determined to overcome stereotypes to become a pilot. It's officially recommended students in Imo State and Abia.

JamJam and other Chirpy Tales is a collection of family folktales and some original narrations. It's also officially recommended by Imo State government.

Incident of the Dog is a story about friendship and good neighborliness. Officially recommended for primary school students in Abia State and Well received by school pupils.

The presentation of these books marked a memorable day in the life of the students and teachers of Central School, Ihitte-Aforukwu.

Ordinarily, school children in our villages would not have access to these materials, particularly because their parents, amidst tight financial constraints, do not consider it at the top of their preferences.

These gifts from Chief Evulocha will inspire hope, building confidence, and lead the children to a world of possibilities where they could see themselves as part of a brighter future. It gives them a taste of what their peers know and support their literacy skills.

May the likes of Chief Andy Evulocha continually thrive and may every child have a chance to good education.
