Gerard Soete: I cut Lumumba into 34 pieces “I cut up and dissolved Lumumba's body in acid. In the middle of the African night, we started by getting drunk to have courage. We got rid of the bodies. The hardest part was cutting them into pieces with a chainsaw before pouring acid into them. There was almost nothing left, only a few teeth. And the smell! I washed three times and always felt like a barbarian dirty” These words are those of Gérard Soete, pronounced on 15 May 2002, forty years after the disappearance of the Congolese leader Patrice Lumumba. The hell is empty the Devils are here. These are the people who want to teach us about human rights.

General Michael Langley: The Black Four-Star General Who Called Out Ibrahim Traoré Over Resource Use

General Michael E. Langley made history on August 6, 2022, when he became the first Black four-star general in the history of the United States Marine Corps. His rise through the ranks has been one of excellence, leadership, and groundbreaking achievement—commanding respect not just within the U.S. military, but globally.

Before reaching this historic milestone, General Langley served in some of the most strategic military commands. From November 2021 to August 2022, he was the Commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command, Marine Corps Forces Northern Command, and Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic. Prior to that, he held the position of Deputy Commander of Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic, and also led the U.S. Marine Forces Europe and Africa.

But Langley is not just known for his military credentials. Recently, he made headlines by openly criticizing Burkina Faso’s leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. Langley accused Traoré of diverting national resources for personal protection and security, raising questions about governance and transparency under the young African leader.

Langley's bold stance has sparked conversations around leadership accountability, sovereignty, and foreign interests in Africa. His words carry weight—not just because of his position, but because they tap into a broader narrative about Africa's wealth, its leaders, and the choices they make on behalf of their people.

Whether one agrees with his remarks or not, one thing is clear: General Michael Langley has placed himself at the center of a critical geopolitical conversation that touches on Africa’s future, its leadership, and the role of global military powers.

Many of you were not aware that the Biafran Army of the 1967-70 were a volunteer force. Ojukwu’s government paid them no dime. Their feeding were cartered for, by the Biafran women. Everyday, they take their farm produces and market wares to the camps to feed our men!

Everyone performed their duties without expecting any pay. That alone, was the very essence of Biafra’s military extraordinary resilience.
Why? Because you cannot defeat an army of volunteers. They’re a moral army.

They only got, should I say, defeated, because of the inhumane economic blockade and starvation; air, land and sea.

We have crossed the Rubicon, the point of no return.

***Adadioramma will tender another apology in tears yet again.

A selfish leader always prioritizes their own interests such as wealth, power, or status over the well being of the people they lead.
Exploit their position for personal gain: They use their authority to benefit themselves, often at the expense of others, ensuring their own needs come first.

it is generally not wise for a leader of a movement to be partying while the people under their care are at war and dying. This kind of behavior can carry significant risks and negative consequences, both for the leader’s credibility and for the morale of their followers.

Why It’s a Problem

Perception of Insensitivity: When a leader engages in leisure activities like partying during a time of crisis, it can come across as a lack of empathy or concern for the suffering of their people. This is especially true in a war scenario, where lives are being lost and the stakes are incredibly high.

Erosion of Trust: A leader’s primary responsibility is to guide and support their people, particularly in times of hardship. Partying might signal that the leader prioritizes personal enjoyment over their duty, which could undermine the trust that people have in their judgment and commitment.

Impact on Morale: Seeing a leader enjoying themselves while others are fighting and dying could demoralize followers, weakening their resolve and unity at a critical moment.

Biafra; Using humanitarian funds to finance guerrilla warfare and Biafra defence forces is a crime. Any individual telling Biafrans otherwise is a criminal and real enemies of Biafra freedom.

Using humanitarian funds to finance guerrilla warfare and defence forces is generally considered a crime. Humanitarian funds are specifically allocated to provide aid and relief to civilians in crisis situations, such as during natural disasters or armed conflicts. Their purpose is to address urgent human needs—think food, shelter, and medical care—not to support military activities like guerrilla warfare or the operations of defence forces.
Why It’s a Crime
When these funds are diverted to military purposes, it constitutes a misuse of resources, often classified as misappropriation or fraud. This violates the fundamental intent of humanitarian aid. Under both domestic laws (depending on the country) and international frameworks—such as those set by the United Nations or treaties like the Geneva Conventions—such actions can carry serious legal consequences. For example:
Domestic Law: Many countries have laws prohibiting the misuse of charitable or public funds, with penalties ranging from fines to imprisonment.

International Law: Diverting humanitarian aid could breach agreements that ensure aid remains neutral and impartial, potentially implicating individuals or groups in war crimes or violations of international humanitarian law.

Context Matters, But Doesn’t Change the Principle
There are situations where the lines might seem blurry. For instance, a humanitarian organization operating in a conflict zone might hire private security to protect its staff and supplies. This is a practical measure, not a direct investment in warfare, and is typically allowed under strict guidelines. However, funding guerrilla fighters or defence forces goes far beyond this—it’s an active shift from aiding civilians to supporting combatants, which is not defensible under the same logic.

The Bottom Line;
In essence, using humanitarian funds for guerrilla warfare or defence forces is illegal because it betrays the purpose of the money and breaks legal and ethical boundaries. While specific penalties depend on the jurisdiction and circumstances, the principle is clear: humanitarian aid is for saving lives, not taking them. Exceptions or gray areas—like security in conflict zones—don’t extend to outright military funding. So, yes, it’s a crime, and one with potentially severe repercussions.

Oshoma React During Interview

Prominent attorney and human rights advocate Liborous Oshoma has claimed that the tardy response to violent incidents demonstrates that justice postponed is justice denied.

He maintained that individuals take matters into their own hands when they are denied justice.

He referenced unresolved killings, such as Deborah Samuel’s 2022 death, which has yet to see arrests, and the recent kidnappings and killings of Catholic priests in Edo, leading to protests by the bishop.

Oshoma noted that while some Northerners now demand “fire for fire,” there was little outrage when Southerners were killed, like Deborah.

He stated that selective justice leads to mob violence and called on the government to apply justice equally and swiftly, regardless of the region or individuals involved.

He said in an interview with News Central TV, The other cases of killings and kidnappings that had happened that were unresolved—some persons talked about the case of Deborah in the north, and no arrest was made to date, and the matter just died.

Some persons remember recently—2023, 2024 was a challenging time for the Catholic Church in Edo, to the extent that the bishop led a protest over kidnapping in that area. Rev. fathers were kidnapped and killed. And so, these are questions.

We say the windmill of justice grinds slowly but surely, but we forget that justice delayed is justice denied. So, when a people don’t have a sense of justice, they take the laws into their hands.

But when there is justice—you also cannot talk about justice without talking about equality. You know, when it happens here, we romanticize it and then just window-dress it.

But when it happens in this other place, you know, the swift response—there’s action, fire for fire, look for the killers.”.

02/04/2025

"Ladies and gentlemen,

We stand at a critical juncture, where the safety and security of our communities are under threat. The recent statements by the DSS Chief, while seemingly innocuous, belie a more sinister reality.

It has become clear that certain groups, driven by extremist ideologies, pose a significant danger to our way of life. The Fulani Islamization agenda, in particular, seeks to undermine our cultural and religious diversity.

In the face of this threat, it is imperative that we take proactive measures to protect ourselves and our communities. We cannot solely rely on the police and army to safeguard our lives and territories.

Rather, we must adopt a collective approach to self-defense, leveraging our community structures and social networks to stay vigilant and respond to potential threats.

This is a call to arms a promotion of vi0lence and a recognition of our inherent right to self-preservation and the need for proactive measures to safeguard our communities.

We must also hold our leaders accountable for their actions and demand that they take concrete steps to address the security challenges facing our nation.

Let us stand together, united in our determination to protect our communities and preserve our way of life.

Thank you."
