We just concluded the annual Ogbe Alara festival and the remembrance of late chief priest Adegoke Ifagbenjo, The festival which was held between January 26th to 28th at Elemowu compound,Ilemowu, Osun state. Cheers to many more celebrations 🎉

The Ogbe-ate Ifa festival, hosted by the esteemed Babaawo Chief Soladoye Awoyemi Oluwo Soladoye , unfolded on December 24th in Fajii, Odo-otin local government, Osun state, marking an annual celebration of spiritual richness and tradition.

Congratulations to Moronfola Soladoye’s entire family on the birth of their new baby, who was named on September 17th!

The baby's name is Ifasola,Tifase,Moronfolu, Anipupo,Agbojulefa, among others.

I pray that the newborn baby enjoys a long, healthy life and prosperity, and that the entire family also experiences well-being.

Ayan Agalu

Ayan Agalu is a deity of drums. He is the deity that is believed to be the pioneer of the making and the utilization of drums. The unique language embedded in the rhythm of drums also originated from him.

Baba Olalere Ayantayo a drummer in Osogbo, is renowned for his mastery of the Yoruba art of drumming which is deeply entwined with the belief in Ayan Agalu. Drumming is a legacy that runs deeply in his family lineage, he was taught this ancient art and its intricacies by his father who was also an esteemed figure in the field.
