KLLA Cracks Down on Defaulters, Disconnects Power Over Unpaid Levy
4th October 2025
The Kajoyo Landlords and Landladies Association (KLLA) in Osogbo, Osun State, has begun enforcing payment of development levies. On Saturday, the association, accompanied by its members, disconnected power to homes with outstanding debts exceeding N6,000. The levy in question is a monthly fee of N500 per building, used for security, electricity maintenance, and road infrastructure.
The enforcement team, led by the KLLA Vice Chairman, is expected to continue its operations in the coming weeks. Residents are urged to settle their debts to avoid having their power cut off.
