This was the era when the Nigerian National team was made up of world Class players in almost every position in their own right.

We had Sunday Oliseh, Taribo West, Daniel Amokachi, Mutiu Adepoju, Rashidi Yekini, Finidi George, Jay Jay Okocha, Victor Ikpeba, Celestine Babayaro, Austin Eguavoen and so on.

We were so so talented. However, we didn't progress beyond the 2nd round with all these talents. We were humiliated by the Danes. 🤣🤣
