As the year 2023 folds up, don't get stuck in it, no matter how beautiful it was. And, if for you it was an ugly one, don't be discouraged because I am persuaded the year 2024 holds untold beauty.

(5). Faith in God

😢 I was inside keke when a guy came in. It was a short ride. Just 50 naira. The keke guy asked him if he had 50 naira and he said yes.
He got in and we continued.
He got to where he would come down and gave the keke guy #500. The keke guy reminded him that he asked him if he has 50 naira and he said yes.
The guy said he has plenty money and thought 50 naira was in it.
The keke driver obviously had no change. The passenger said he doesn't also have that 500 is the least money he has.
He said it's either the keke driver finds change or he'll leave without paying.
From there, verbal fight started. He was insulting the keke driver like he was right. The keke driver was obviously pained by the whole thing.
The keke driver was trying to find change from his fellow riders and the guy crossed road and left.
That thing pained the keke driver. I saw the pain in his eyes.
We left. At a point I noticed the keke driver was wiping tears off his face.
Haa!
I asked him if he's fine and he said all he wanted from that guy was to at least talk to him in a calm voice that he doesn't have 50 naira and not to insult him.
He said he needed the 50 naira but he can still let go if he talks to him like a human being.
Like, this guy was crying. It was very heartbreaking.
I got home, paid him and also gave him the last 500 on me.
His countenance changed immediately. He was smiling with tears flowing down his eyes.
To you, it's JUST 50 naira. To the next person, it might be all they need to have dinner.
People need kindness.
Lots of people are struggling and a simple smile from you is all they need to know that no matter how hard life is to them, there's still love in this world.

NOW PRAY THIS PRAYER :- Oh lord help me to be a source of blessing to people around me in Jesus mighty name

Being old is not a curse, rather it's a time of reminiscen on the good old days!
A time to be grateful to God who brought you thus far!
It's a time to enjoy life, make peace with your enemies
It's a time of showing quality leadership to the upcoming lads!
It's time to appreciate Jesus for his mercies from the beginning even to the ending days of a life well spent!

What does it feel like to be old?

The other day, a young person asked me: - What did it feel like to be old?

I was very surprised by the question, since I did not consider myself old. When he saw my reaction, he was immediately embarrassed, but I explained that it was an interesting question. And after reflection, I concluded that getting old is a gift.

Sometimes I am surprised at the person who lives in my mirror. But I don't worry about those things for long. I wouldn't trade everything I have for a few less gray hairs and a flat stomach. I don't scold myself for not making the bed, or for eating a few extra "little things." I am within my rights to be a little messy, to be extravagant, and to spend hours staring at my flowers.

I have seen some dear friends leave this world, before they had enjoyed the freedom that comes with growing old.

-Who cares if I choose to read or play on the computer until 4 in the morning and then sleep until who knows what time?

I will dance with me to the rhythm of the 50's and 60's. And if later I want to cry for some lost love...I will!

I'll walk down the beach in a swimsuit that stretches over my plump body and dive into the waves letting myself go, despite the pitying looks of the bikini-wearers. They'll get old too, if they're lucky...

It is true that through the years my heart has ached for the loss of a loved one, for the pain of a child, or for seeing a pet die. But it is suffering that gives us strength and makes us grow. An unbroken heart is sterile and will never know the happiness of being imperfect.

I am proud to have lived long enough for my hair to turn gray and to retain the smile of my youth, before the deep furrows appeared on my face.

Now, to answer the question honestly, I can say: -I like being old, because old age makes me wiser, freer!-.

I know I'm not going to live forever, but while I'm here, I'm going to live by my own laws, those of my heart.
I'm not going to regret what wasn't, nor worry about what will be.
The time that remains, I will simply love life as I did until today, the rest I leave to God

I WAS ALMOST KIDNAPPED YESTERDAY. It Was Not Funny..

Una for hear different story by now, but God forbade it.

I got a call to go for an inspection at Oniru VI, yesterday.

I was at Berger when I received the call, I quickly rushed home, got dressed.
Immediately I stepped out of my door, I was cold, like really cold.
And that's always not a good sign expecially if I'm going somewhere, I'm so familiar with this sign. I quickly step back, opened my door, went inside my room, knelt down and prayed for like 3mins.

I told God I was going to this place, I knew the sudden cold sign was not a good sign, and that was why I am trusting myself to Him. He shouldn't hand me over to the desire of my enemies.
I want to go safely and return back safely, He should watch over me, unfortunate incident shall never be my portion.
I shall not regret leaving home today. Go with me, go before me, go after me.
I shall be victorious with all my dealings.. I prayed.

Immediately I got to the express, this car came, asked where I was going, i told the driver, VI, Eko hotel precisely.
There was a guy at the front seat, the guy in this picture.
Another at the passager seat. Holding a Dangote cement sack.

Immediately I entered from the other side, another guy came from the other side, but wanted to enter from my side, and when that happened, I would be in the center.

I told him to use the other side, as he was coming from that side, he wanted arguing, the driver asked him to use the other side.

We drove.
Immediately after Ogudu, heading to Ifako, the driver asked where I was going again. I reminded him I was going to Eko hotel.

The guy at the front turned and said, you look like someone that has money o. I pretended as if he was not talking to me. We were now at the 3rd mainland bridge.

He said to me again, I was telling you that you look like someone that has money, but you didn't say anything..
I told him that was never a question to be answered, beside, I am not the only one sitting at the back, how was I supposed to know he was referring to me? I asked.

He said I am the only stranger in this car na.. I was speechless at this moment, I said in my mind, God, I think this was the sign I earlier had, I am in a wrong car. Help me.
I immediately took this picture.

The last guy that entered after me, asked. How much do you Worth, and how much can you transfer right now?

I was so uncomfortable at this moment, I told the driver to drop me immediately.
The driver asked me to calm down, that they only harm someone that doesn't comply with them. But if I don't, I would have myself to blame.

Psalms 55:9 immediately resonated in my head.
Confuse [my enemies], O Lord, divide their tongues [destroying their
Schemes], For I have seen violence and strife in the city.

The guy at the front shown me a pistol, the one beside me brought at a knife from the sack. I was terrified.

This is happening for real!

I closed my eyes, I said God, not today. I immediately heard the driver screaming to the guy that shown me a gun, are you mad, are you stupid, is something wrong with you? He said he did that to show me they were serious. The driver was like who sent you? They started arguing with themselves. I was confused, like really confused.

The driver asked me to go down immediately, shouting at me, I told him he was still moving that he should stop, he slowed down, he couldn't stop completely, I went down, I had some bruises because he was still moving slowly. I sustained some injuries.

I immediately left that scene, went forward, and was still praying in my heart, thanking God for creating a confusion among them.
I was still surprise, as I watched them drove off.

I said God, today, I have once again confirmed it that you truly love me, because what is this immediate confusion you just caused!!

Did you see what God did?

God did this.

He created a confusion immediately among them, the gun I was shown got me terrified, sincerely, I was about asking them how much they needed before I heard them arguing for showing me a gun.

But was that supposed to be an issue?
I was also confused.

I don't know what someone must have told you about prayer, but I must tell you, prayer works wonders

Psalm 14:1.
A fool says in his heart, there is no God.

There is God, don't be a fool!

There is God, I am telling you this for free.

Pray. Pray. Pray without ceasing..
I am a living testifier, I have seen so many wonders of the Lord.

Our Lord is good.

Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord, for coming through for me once again.

I feel like talking about relationships this week!
I saw some trending messages on some social media platforms, so I just felt like giving some tips about it!
KEY TO A SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP
The key to succeeding in a Relationship is not finding the right person; it's learning to love the Person you found.
SUSTAINING love is not a passive or spontaneous experience. You have to work on it day in and day out. It takes time, effort, and energy. And most importantly, it demands WISDOM. You have to know
WHAT TO DO to make it work. Make no mistake about it!
Love is NOT a mystery. There are specific things you can do (with or without your partner), Just as there are physical laws Of the universe (such as gravity), there are also laws for relationships. If you know how to apply these laws, the results are predictable.

Love is therefore a "decision". Not just a feeling.

Remember this always: God determines who walks into your life. It is up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let GO! ♥
