PLEASE PASS THIS MESSAGE.
A message and burden to THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH NIGERIA. (Territorial Heads, Fields Heads, Areas Heads, District Heads, Assembly Heads and Officers)
Grace to you and Peace from the Father of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I thank the Lord who found it worthy to establish the Church (T.A.C) for his glorious work here on earth. This He did through our fathers, who kept the faith, ran the race and has gone to be with the Lord and some remaining until now.
Remembering our father of faith, Daniel Powell Williams who was the first to lead this vision, who in 1913, was ordained an Apostle in the Body of Christ who later became the first President of The Apostolic Church Council and remained so until he slept in the Lord in 1947.
What we came to know as THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH NIGERIA AND WORLD WIDE was therefore born in 1915 in Penygroes, South Wales, United Kingdom from where it spread to other countries and continents of the world. Thus this vision was instituted by the Lord to demonstrate the New Testaments offices and powers of Apostles and Prophets with the soul aim of
(1) The preaching of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ according to the Holy Scriptures as originally written.
(2) The teaching of the scriptures conformable to our understanding of the same as set out in this Constitution.
(3) The publication of authoritative books, treaties, tracts and magazines, promulgating the Gospel of Christmas and the beliefs and the practices of the Church.
(4) The forming and establishing of churches in North America
(5) The exposition of the particular beliefs of the church to other groups of christian believers as requested by them either as individually churches or organized movements, and on their acceptance of such teachings and their signified desire, then they are admitted to the fellowship of the Apostolic Church.
(6) The establishing and governing of such churches according to the Constitution and ensuring that all ministers are duly ordained according to the principles and practices of the church; that their business meetings are constitutionally called, held, governed, and their decisions registered, recorded and reported as provided in this Constitution, and that public worship and services are held and controlled constitutionally; and that no false doctrines are allowed to be proclaimed or practiced.
(7) The organization and promotion of Christian Education, Social, Health, and Relieve Services among members and the community in general.
(8) The promotion and furtherance of good relations between the church and other Christian organisations........................................
Having known this,
Let me continue with my burden for the house of God. (THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH NIGERIA)
I write as a believer, steward of the mysteries of God and baptized member of this body (The Apostolic Church Nigeria). I'm writing to all leaders and officers in the various territories, fields, areas, districts and assemblies.
Dear Church.
Why this dearth?
Where cometh this lukewarmness that is ravaging the church?
Where lieth the watchmen positioned at the tower when the enemy crept in unawares among us to cause disunity and bring divisions among those who are sanctified?
Where are those bearing the torchlight?
Have they all gone asleep?
Have we succeeded in putting off the light that was set on a hill by our fathers who started this race and kept the faith?
Why are the souls of men looking so famished and thirsty for the pure spiritual milk?
Who brought down the monuments of heart felt PRAYERS, FASTING, WITNESSING and BIBLE STUDY that our fathers erected with so much pain, persecution, spiritual battles, prayers and hunger with bended knees day and night travailing to birth a true and living church (The Apostolic Church) by the help, gift and manifestation of the Holy Spirit with signs and wonders following?
Why are the sheep looking so malnourished, we feed them right in the church, milk them dry in the church, take their wool for selfish gains and church growth so called, right in the church and push them spiritually weak into the very world that seeks to destroy their soul and lead them to hell.
They catch fire right in the church and before church closes, they lose the fire right there.
What are we doing when some of our churches has become an open sepulchre? A shadow of itself
Why are we so concentrated in building the structures than the spiritual life of the members.
Oh! How we take record of tithes, offerings and dues and neglect the record of souls won or added to the church (Remember 3000 souls were added to the church in the day of Pentecost)
Do I need to remind you that we have neglected the great commission by the Lord.
Do I need to expose how we hide under the umbrella of Apostolic witness rally and never witness with our private life's at home, work and in the world, the souls we won by God's grace we forget to follow them up and with time they grow weak, lean and they go back to sin and the world? (We make church members and not Disciples of all nation)
Oh! The king business is really suffering loss.😢
Dear Church I have a burden.
Why are our pews becoming so scanty and full of souls who hunger and thirst for righteousness.
Remember the Lord promised them that they will be filled. But Lo!
Those sent to fill them are thirsty and hungry themselves
Can the blind lead the blind?
Can you give what you don't have?
Can you give a Fire you don't carry and the Spirit you have no relationship with?
I have a burden Church😢
We are so full of activities!
The Apostolic Church Nigeria is full of activities!
The glorious vision is getting blurred day by day.
The movement is full of men and women with worn out foots not from toiling but from hunger, thirstiness and neglect.
Where is the ministry of the word?
Where is the prayer?
Where is the Soul winning?
Have we given up preaching the Word of God to serve tables?
Have we given up preaching the Word of God to go after mammon .
Have we given up preaching the Word of God to focus on the records of tithe and offerings.
Does God have more delight in sacrifices than obedience?
Oh! I weep for the Church😢
God is looking for worshippers and not church members
God is seeking for souls and not sacrifices
The house of prayer has become a den of ordained thieves and hirelings.😢
We preach money, give money, talk money, exchange money, change money. Money money money.
Materialism has eaten us up
Just don't pretend about it
Just don't try to back it up with scriptures
Just repent and turn from your wicked and Mischievous ways before the coming of the Lord
The Acts of The Apostles has become a once upon a time service
They were involved in the distribution of food, which were first of all brought at the Apostles feet for accountability and it was distributed through men full of the Holy Ghost and Good report.
But where lies all our tithes and offerings?
Do we really care for the widows and fatherless among us?
Do we act like the Apostles?
We have neglected our widows and the fatherless.
We have neglected the pure and undefiled religion and used the power of office to steal that which belongs to the church
I call you to order in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
Let us repent and go back to the word of God
The nation is ravaged with so many uncompleted church projects yet every service day or meetings we suck the members dry of their money and still leave this projects uncompleted and get transferred to another ministry post to continue your mischievous business.
The Lord will judge us all
The church (The Apostolic Church Nigeria) has become known as a denomination with uncompleted buildings
Souls who are materially poor are afraid to come to church because of fear of having nothing to give
Church, they're afraid of not giving and not for worshipping
They are afraid because the leaders have used the scriptures to deceive, abuse, condemn and make them see coming to the church without an offering is a sin.
Because of this, many come to church with their money and substance and not with their heart. 😓
I ask again,
Is the Lord more interested in sacrifices than obedience?😓
Oh! So many are losing Jesus right in the temple.
Remember Jesus parents lost him right in the temple and sadly the same thing is repeating in our churches
Don't think it strange when I tell you that most of our ordained ministers are not born again.
Some don't have a salvation story to tell.
They were just privilege as church members
Apostles of men and not of Christ
Should I talk about the politics we are playing in the name of transfer and ordination of offices?
You're afraid to go where there are materially poor members or local villages and you call your self a minister of Jesus Christ?
You're praying and bribing to be taken to wealthy and fruitful lands and leave those in the rural areas to die in thirst and hunger and souls to go to hell
The lord will judge us all
Time will fail me to talk about how careless and irresponsible we have become in our offices in handling the church the Lord paid with his precious blood
We have neglected the Lord's work to suffer loss
How is the Adult choir?
How is the youth group?
How is the Children Department?
How is the Sunday School Department?
How is the men and women ministry?
How is the instrumentalist group?
How is the prayer band?
Church members, how is your Pastor and Church Officers faring?
How well are you taking good care of your ministers?
Have we neglected the good and true shepherds to cry and regret of been posted to that assembly, district, area, field and territory?
Sometimes, we cause them to derail and neglect the place of their callings.
They're humans for goodness sake
Church, take care of your ministers
Where a minister works is where he will eat from
May God bless all the true ministers who work and serve in spirit and in truth
Dear Church,
Are we really worshipping, singing, praying, and working in the power of the Holy Spirit or we are just moving mechanically by our own power and instruments?
It seems we are too fast to forget the message of the Lord Jesus to the SEVEN CHURCHES
I beg us to go back and look at it, study it, read it and see where we belong and know the message that refers to us.
Look at it sincerely and be truthful to yourself of the message that speaks to our state.
Am afraid because
- it seems we have have lost our first love and works like the Church of Ephesus (Rev. 2:4-5)
- it looks like the devil is about to cast us into prison, that we may be tried, but I fear that a lot of us may not be faithful unto death. (Rev. 2:10)
- it pains my spirit that The Apostolic Church is getting filled with those who hold and teach the doctrine of Balaam and the Nicolaitanes like the Church in Pergamos and if we don't repent, the Lord is coming to make war with us with the Sword of his mouth (Rev. 2: 14-16)
- I fear that the spirit of Jezebel is gaining control and preeminence in some of our churches and her fruit of fornication is spreading and has killed the fire and quench the life and zeal out of God's servants like the Church in Thyatira (Rev. 2:20)
- I strongly believe in my spirit that the message to the Church in Sardis belongs to us (Rev. 3:1-6) the Church should look at it, study it and pray passionately asking God for mercy and grace.
- We should also look at the message to the Church in Laodicea, I see their warnings evident in The Apostolic Church. Dear church study it and pray (Rev. 3: 14-22)
So many Territories, Fields, Areas, Districts and Assemblies.
Majority are breakaways
More are still seeking to break away
More will still break away
Everybody wants to be in charge
Everybody wants to lead
Everybody wants to be an Apostle, a superintendent, A District Pastor
No Vision
No Holy Ghost
No Power
No Fire
No True Worship
No Altar Call
No Bible Study
No Prayer meetings
No Evangelism
No Soul Searching Sermons
Oh! I weep for you😓
I weep for the labours of our fathers
Church I weep
The labours of our heroes is already going in vain
The labours of Our Lord Jesus Christ
The labours of the Apostles and Disciples
The labours of Daniel Powell Williams
The labours of E. E Okon
The Labours of Samuel Adegboyega
The genuine labours of those who served, prayed, fasted, battled, planted churches, carried out rugged evangelism in demon ravaged places.
Unless there is a man to stand in the gap
We will likewise become an Open Sepulchre
I have more burdens to pour out and address but time and strength constraineth me.
I believe I have the Holy Spirit and I have a witness in my spirit He approves of what I write.
May Grace and Peace be multiplied to The Apostolic Church Nigeria and the Global Church.
