Nigerian professional footballer, Victor Osimhen revealed that he cannot provide for a lady who has nothing to offer in their relationship.

He made this known in a recent interview with Korty on Flow, where he asserted that he doesn't particularly care about a woman's appearance.

Victor continued by saying that it was inconceivable for him to purchase her a Birkin bag while all he got in return was a long birthday note.

[Full text] Atiku’s speech at press conference on Tinubu’s CSU record saga

Being text of a press conference by His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar (GCON), Waziri Adamawa, Vice President of Nigeria (1999-2007) and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (2023), at the Shehu Yar’Adua Centre on the 5th of October 2023.

Gentlemen of the Press, Fellow Citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I consider it important to address and report to you today on issues that define the future of elective government and legitimate leadership in our country.

Political leadership and active citizenship matter because they are ways through which we all work together to build a country that works for all who live in it. Our country is bigger than any of us, and its standing in the world affects the fate of all who come from or live in it. As leaders, it is our duty to advance the well-being of all our people and of the country.

For this purpose, my generation worked hard to return the soldiers to the barracks and to defend the right of the people to elect and establish for ourselves a legitimate government. Our elections are established and governed by law and founded on the constitution from which leadership and government in Nigeria alone derive their legitimacy.

The people look up to us as leaders to respect these rules and, where necessary, to defend them. This is what brings us here.

Today, we are called upon again as a people to uphold and defend the ground rules of elective government in our country. The constitution prescribes the requirements for those who seek the highest elective office in the land.

It should not take months or, indeed, decades, for the institutions concerned to be able to do their work in establishing the credibility of any certificates presented by candidates for public office.

We'll continue fight to retrieve MohBad's unpaid royalties held by Marlian Music - Management

The management of late singer Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, has stated that it will continue the fight to retrieve the singer's unpaid royalties held by his former record label, Marlian Music.

This was contained in a statement released on the singer's Instagram page today.

It partly read, "Before his passing, Mohbad was in court to retrieve the majority of his songs and unpaid royalties which were wrongfully held by Marlian Music.

"We will continue the fight to retrieve his catalog and unpaid royalties so that through these, those he left behind, especially his son, Liam Imole, will be provided for.

"We want , and we will appreciate all the support we can get in this fight to retrieve his catalog from Marlian Music, as this is the justice that Mohbad was working towards."

MohBad left Marlian Music in 2022, citing unpaid royalties from 2019. He died on Tuesday at age 27.

MohBad was not poisoned in our custody — NDLEA Spokesperson

The spokesman for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Femi Babafemi, has debunked claims that the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka MohBad, was poisoned in their custody.

In an X post on Saturday, Babafemi stated that the deceased was not one of the Marlian Music acts arrested by the agency in 2022, as speculated by many.

He added that this makes it impossible for MohBad to have been poisoned in their custody.

Babafemi shared a link by an online platform (Not Vanguard) which detailed the arrest of six people, two females, and four males, in the persons of Oniyide Azeez (Zinoleesky), Owoeye Michael (m) and Abimbola Ogbe (m).

Others are Dominica Chinwe (f), Olaolohun Shubomi Mariam (f), and Ibrahim Alawo (m).

He wrote, "This is an authentic account of the arrest and detention of some Malian artistes in Feb 2022, an incident that has now been twisted by purveyors of fake news to say Mohbad was poisoned or detained by the agency.

"I hope, they’ll be bold enough to defend their claims when the hand of the law catches them," Babafemi tweeted.

Babafemi's tweet is coming hours after a now-viral video of the deceased surfaced online, showing him weeping in what looked like a hospital.

In the video, MohBad claimed he was harassed and given a white substance to consume.

"They gave me water to drink, it was inside a bottle of water plastic. They said I was using drugs. I was the only one who drank it, they didn't give others to drink. I won't lie. Then they told me to go home and told the others to wait.

"They even hit a gun on my head. I saved Zino in that video but Zino snitched on me."

"Wasting N120M on incorrect people who are only correct in their bu**um" – Kanayo blast BBN Housemates for not being able to answer general questions they were asked

Veteran movie star, Kanayo O Kanayo has blasted BBNaija housemates over their inability to answer general knowledge questions.

Criticisms have trailed videos showing the housemates failing to give correct answers to some basic knowledge questions which fans consider to be too basic.

A sample of some of the questions were: ‘What is the body’s primary source of energy?’, ‘What colour is a giraffe’s tongue?’, ‘Whose face is on the 100 naira bill?’, and ‘Which body is responsible for making laws in Nigeria?’.

Following this Kanayo O Kanayo berated the show for wasting such a large amount on people of low intellect.

According to the Nollywood actor, the money would have been better channelled to the educational sector.

He wrote …

“Wasted 120m on INCORRECT PEOPLE who are only correct with their bu**um. Money that should have been channelled to a CORRECT educational program.”
