1. JAMB CUT OFF MARK FOR 2022/2023:
The minimum JAMB cut off marks for 2022/2023 admission processes have been fixed following the just concluded 2023 Admission Policy Meeting of the body (JAMB). The JAMB registrar Prof. Oloyede as witnessed by the authorities of Ministry of Education and the heads of tertiary institutions such as the Vice-chancellors of Universities, the Rectors of Polytechnics, and the Provosts of Colleges of education, etc, in a document state the cut off marks for 2022/23 as follow: Universities 160,
Polytechnics 120, Colleges of Education 100.
2. COEASU EMBARKED ON 4 WEEKS INDEFINITE STRIKE:-
The unionists (members) of The Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU), FCE(T), Omoku Chapter chairmaned by DR RICHARD ONUOTU joined other unionists to embark on INDEFINITE 4 weeks strike starting from Wednesday 14th June, 2022. In a document signed and released by the college (FECOETECH, Omoku in Affi. With UNN and Uniyo) PRO in a person of Prince Charlse Amadike-Otobo (JP), on the 15th June, 2022 in regards, the 14th NCE and 11th and 2nd Degree programme for University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and University of Uyo (UNIYO) respectively matriculation ceremony originally scheduled on Friday 17th June, 2022 has been postponed indefinitely. New date will be announced to the students, their parents/guidance and the general public. Meanwhile, the activities of students (as unionist) cm Non-academic staff are on.
