Late Ohini Paul Ipole laid to rest

The remains of David A. Ogewu Liberators' Media Director and a one time presenter of Agba Showcase Igede, Ipole Paul Ohini has been laid to rest in his country home of Ohuhu-Owo today. Our deepest condolences to the wife of the deceased, Mrs. Uhana Agnes Ipole and the entire family.

May his soul rest in peace.

The presenter of Agba Community Doctor on Agba Community Radio Choice Fm, Dr Mrs. Grace Akpegi can be seen examing a pregnant woman at primary health care unit Igede Centre. Mrs Grace Akpegi is a retired HOD health, who has decided to give back to the society that raised her up. Even though she run her own clinic and Maternity facility located at Anyiwogbu Ibilla, Oju LGA, after retirement she makes out time to give a helping hands to the young staff of the center on ANC visiting days when the local government health workers are over stressed attending to pregnant women, babies for routine immunization and sick people that visit the clinic for treatment. According to her, it is her joy to support and encourage the younger health practitioner with her nursing and midwifery skills as that remind the younger nursing officers to know that the job is more of a humanitarian service even though they are paid for working in the clinic.

2023 THBC Spelling Bee

Registration for 2023 Treasure House Book Club is opened and it is FREE for all participants both schools and individuals!!!

To mark our 10th Anniversary, registration for this year's Spelling Bee shall be FREE for all participants. We're doing this to give all interested participants the opportunity to participate.

To participate as a school (both primary and secondary, text your school name, school address, name of speller representing the school, age of speller, class of speller and school phone number to 08071249084.

To participate as an individual, text your name, age, name of school, class/level, location and phone number to 08071249084.

Registration closes on Friday 27th October 2023 while the competition preliminary is on Friday 10th November, 2023 and the grand finale is on Saturday 11th November, 2023.

There shall be special gift for the first 100 spellers to register and lots of cash and educational prizes to be won.

We're by this announcement calling on all interested Primary and Secondary Schools as well as all interested individual spellers within Benue State to hurry and register before Friday 27th October, 2023 as there won't be registration on the day of competition.

We shall be able to accommodate only 300 spellers.

Oju LG to FCT
A congratulatory bicycle ride from Oju LG to Abuja, FCT has been embarked on by one Elijah Ijwo Odugbo popularly known as Odugbo Tiger Elihaha.
Elijah is on a mission to celebrate Igede Agba with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Sen. George Akume and to congratulate him on his well deserved appointment as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Speaking to newsmen before his departure from Oju LG this morning, Monday, 11th September, 2023, Tiger said that he hopes to extend the greetings of his people, the Igede people to His Excellency and to draw his attention to the plight of his people particularly on areas of , bad and the absence of the Federal Government Institutions of learning. Be further called on the good people of Igede and Benue at large to support him on this all important trip.
