In the market you find a poor woman with a baby at her back, you lower your car window and with a military rough command voice you asked her:

"How much are you selling those onions and bananas?"

The poor seller politely replies, "N1,500 for a bunch of bananas and N1,000 for a pack of onions."

With pride you demand the bunch of bananas at #800 and the the pack of onions at #700 or else you will leave. The poor seller resigns to fate and replies, "take them at the price you want. I have not made any sale today, at least I have something for supper now."

She has made a loss but she goes further to buy a plastic bag for you to pack the two items you have just bought.

You order her to hurry up otherwise you may change your mind. She apologizes and with a smile, she gives you the items and she blesses you for patronizing her. You literally throw the money at her and you sped away leaving behind a cloud of smoke and dust which causes a bit of discomfort to her and the baby. She is coughing while securing her little money. Her poverty has left her with no choice.

You have now arrived at the 5-star restaurant where you are to meet friends and you ask them to order food and drinks of their choice. They order expensive food and the leftovers are more than the food they have eaten.

The total bill is N65,000 and you pay without bargaining, you gave a tip of N5,000 appreciating the waiter for a delicious meal....which you didn't eat even half of.

This incident might seem quite normal to you but it's inhumane.

THE POINT IS:👇

Why do we always show that we have the bargaining power when we buy from the poor?
Why do we become arrogant when buying from the poor?
Why do we become stingy when buying from the vulnerable?
Why do we show generosity to those who do not even need our generosity?
Why do we become polite when buying from the rich who view our money as mere change?
Why do we channel money to a sea of money?
Think about it!

Dey see Final-Year Enugu University Student Die Inside Her Room With Male Friend Reportedly Battling For Life.

Miss Mbah Ezinne, a final-year student of Enugu State University of Science and Technology, has been found dead in her room.

The lifeless body of Ezinne, a student of the Department of Anatomy, was found on Sunday in her apartment after she was not seen in her church.

SaharaReporters learnt that as service began in the church, Ezinne's friends and family attempted to reach her in the phone but a voice prompt repeated that her mobile line was not reachable.

One Chisom Onyedikachi told SaharaReporters that she and other friends and family could not reach Ezinne by Monday morning, they were concerned.

Worried for her safety and well-being, her brother Stephen and some of her friends embarked on a journey to her residence in Enugu.

It was learnt that when they arrived there by Monday afternoon, peering through her window, they found Ezinne and a male friend, who happened to be her coursemate, lying on the floor.

Overwhelmed by shock and disbelief, Stephen tried to access the apartment but was advised by neighbours to involve the police before any further action would be taken.

The local authorities were summoned, and the victims were taken to the hospital.

On arrival at the hospital, Ezinne was pronounced dead, while her male friend whose identity was yet to ascertained was revived.

He is still battling for life in the hospital, SaharaReporters was told on Tuesday morning.

Meet Sarki Abba from Kano State Nigeria, the genius that was made to rewrite WASSCE after scoring 9 distinctions.

In 1984, 16 year-old Abba, a student of Science Secondary School Dawakin Tofa, scored 9 distinctions (8 A1s and 1 A2) in his West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) Exams.

Examination authorities in Lagos didn't believe Abba made those excellent scores without cheating. The authorities provided a car that took Abba to Lagos in order to retake the exam.

Abba was made to take the 9 exams in a duration of 3 days, under heavy supervision. After marking the rescheduled exams, he scored 9 A1s (the only ‘A2’ he had in English Language before the retake, now became ‘A1’).

Faced with shock, the authorities apologized and instituted the National Merit Award. And, rightfully, Sarki Abba was the first recipient of the award.

In 1989/90 school session, Sarki Abba graduated as OVERALL BEST Medical Student, and OVERALL BEST Graduating Student at ABU, Zaria— he was just 21.

Today, he is a Professor of Urological Research, and Professor of Urology and Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, USA.

He also serves as Co-Director of Cancer Global Health at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University IL, USA.

So many years ago in my Primary School, our English Language teacher taught us Words and Opposites in Primary 4.

The second day he came for another lesson. He said, "Yesterday I taught you Words and Opposite. Now what is the opposite of 'GO?'"

None of us answered. He became angry. He took out his cane. I panicked, and quickly raised up my hand. All the pupils focused on me, seeing me as a Superstar.

The teacher then said, "So, it was only Okoro that I taught yesterday? You are all dunces. Okoro, come out. "I sluggishly came out.

"Before you answer, take this cane and give each of these dullards two strokes. Wow! Two strokes each for 85 pupils! Excitedly, I picked up the cane and there I went. Whack! whack!

Those who offended me took harder and stronger ones. Those who refused to give me banana and groundnut took venomous flogging..... By the time I was through, I was sweating profusely. A lot were wailing uncontrollably.

Then the teacher said, "Keep quiet and listen to the brilliant BOY. Now tell them the opposite of 'GO'" I raised up my voice, looking askance, and with a shaky voice, said "The opposite of GO is 'I NO GO GO'.

The teacher's eyes nearly popped out of the socket! "Whhhhhhaaaaaatttt!!!"

"Claaaasss, take the cane and each of you should give him two!" I quickly summed it 85 x 2 =170 strokes. Na die be this ...... I jumped through the window and ran, who wan die.

Please, don't tell the teacher that I am on Facebook oooooh!!! In case my teacher still dey look 4 me.

I used to hear about the ¢raziness of Lagos state until I experienced it.

Everything about this place is ¢razy.
You'll just be on your own and boom someone will just start gisting you in Yoruba without even caring to know if you hear it or not.

I tried pricing stuff and it was a bit more pricey than I thought, so I priced it the amount I could afford for that, boom the owner started laying ¢urs£s on me.
For my money o. 😀

Let's not talk about their drivers, because those guys can leave a moving vehicle with passengers, just to exchange words.

Once you mention your location, the only thing good he'll do is to slow down for you to jump out, but if you expect him to match break, just know that you'll get passed your junction.

'Hopping in and alighting' are not in their dictionary... They only understand the 'Jump in and Jump out' of the car.

They can use their Danfo to ¢rash a Mercedes Benz and still be shouting at the Benz owner for denting their Danfo. 😔

Three University students dodged exam because they did not study They came up with a plan, got themselves dirty using grease, then went to see the Lecturer” Sir we are sorry we couldn't make it to the exam.

We attended a wedding and on our way back the car broke down and we became so dirty as you can see".

The Lecturer understood and gave them three days
to prepare. After three days, they went to the Lecturer very ready for the exam because they had studied.
The Lecturer decided to put them in three separate classes with only four questions in the exam paper as follows:
1. Who got married? (25 marks)
2. Where was the reception held? (25mks)
3. Where exactly did the car break down?
(25mks)
4.What type of car broke down? (25mks)

Marking scheme: your answers must be the same.!!!

Meet Abubaqar Ahmad Abubaqar (Kogite) a graduate of FUTMINNA (2018/20219) academic session from the department of Library and information technology
Abu is undoubtedly the smallest graduate FUTMinna has ever produced but he's very powerful and mighty.

Despite his stature and of course alot of mockery, Abubakar never relent in his studies and he performed wonderfully during his stay on campus.

In 2021 during his service, Abubakar donated e-library to NYSC as his personal Community Development Service (CDS) Project and he's been living a life beyond human imagination.

Abubakar hails from kogi central.
