I'm yet to wrap my head around the idea of Alága ìdúró And Alága ìjókòó (Engagement MCs) monopolizing other people's event which they have been paid for.

How did we get here?

They will take the shine off the couple and their families and continue to make money for themselves while at times forgetting crucial aspects of the programmes until someone goes to whisper in their ears. It's as bad as that.

They weave webs of lies on non-existent stuff just to make money, thereby dragging the event to last more than necessary.

There was one event where they didn't remember to call parents and family members to pray for the couple.

Some of them even claim a portion of the engagement items, which I think must be the prerogative of the bride's family to release or not to release.

I think whoever contracts them must talk to them very well before the event. Ah ah! My people say, "ìwọ̀n ni ọ̀ràn ń mọ".

Christian MCs, where art thou? You guys must make a big difference.

BATTLE AGAINST A LEADER IS A LOST BATTLE

I don't know who wrote this, but everything said here is so true.

The battle against your leader is a battle you can never win no matter who is backing you. Don't even attempt it, you can never win it.

You may be anointed to kill Goliath but will forever not be anointed and permitted to kill Saul. Ask David whenever you see him.

You cannot ERASE a man who raised you.

You cannot DISHONOR the man who made people honour you.

You cannot bring EMBARRASSMENT to the man who gave you endorsement.

Never become a PROBLEM to the man who gave you a platform to rise.

Why become a WARFARE to the man who took care of your welfare?

Determine not to become a DISAPPOINTMENT to the man who gave you an appointment.

How can a man put so much investment into your life and your 'thank you' to him is to put so much sorrow into his own life? Kai!

In most cases, leaders may be the ones who wronged you, but remember, the God who anointed David to kill Goliath will not allow him to kill Saul.

The DRUNKENNESS of Noah is not a license to expose his NAKEDNESS. That will be wickedness and foolishness in the sight of God.

One of the sons of Noah exposed his father's NAKEDNESS forgetting it was his father's RIGHTEOUSNESS that once saved him from the flood.

Remember, Noah found GRACE with God, yet he found DISGRACE with his son.

If you know the WEAKNESS of your leader, it's because he gave you the ACCESS you don't deserve.

I am not here to defend you he errors of the leader. Never forget this statement for the rest of your life.

The person who came to tell King David that they have finally killed Saul, his enemy, was killed by David as a reward for killing a backslidden Prophet.

Think about it.

For those going through the pain of betrayal, Lord, heal them and bring them out stronger.

I am afraid we have too many pharisaic meetings that have failed to save a soul in a whole year.

The truth is that many Christian do not have the living water in them.

And those who have it in them are not stirring the water.

And because they did not stir the water, they didn't stir the Holy spirit in them.

So, the fountain of their waters dried up!

And when the waters dried up

their spiritual network dried up!

their discernment dried up!

And many things that connect them to eternity dried up!

Jesus Christ, give me the living water!

I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

I have felt insufficient many times. I have felt the need to back out and let others take the lead.

A friend shared with me also about his fears, that he doesn’t think his writings are good enough to be read by the public.
I’ve seen his works. He is good, but the fear of starting is limiting him.

I know that feeling perfectly, before I started putting myself out here, I knew the war I fought in my mind.

Many questions flowed through my mind.

What would people say?

What if they laugh?

What if no one engages with it? I’ve seen others and they write better.

I've felt it all at one time—and here I am, a full-time “writer!”

I still make mistakes but I am evolving, and learning by the day.

I think it’s time to listen to that tiny, tentative voice, that whispers,
"Hey… maybe you do have something good to offer.
Maybe the world needs my contribution too.

Yes, you are right! The world needs your unique contribution.

It’s my encouragement to you out there, who still feel insufficient. It feels safer to hide, but it’s time to come out of your comfort zone.

You might feel someone already does what you want to do. Yes, but not like the way you will do it.

Your audience is waiting.

Your world is waiting for you.

They need you.

They want to see the dimensions and creativity of God vested uniquely in you.

You don’t need to be perfect to start anything. On the journey, you will feel lonely.
You might not get all the support. Others may laugh. You’ll make mistakes, but don't allow your failures to define you, learn from them.
You are good and you are enough.
Enjoy your growth process, and invest in evolving into your best version.

Finally, Please Pray. Pray over anything you want to do, and ask God for your strategy.

“Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.” [Hebrews 10:7].
