EXCERPS FROM TODAY'S BIBLE STUDY.

ON THE TOPIC:

FREEDOM FROM SEXUAL IMMORALITY

Sexual immorality is one of the precious and powerful instruments in the hand of the devil. He (devil) uses it to destroy great destinies in men(women)

Sometimes these destructions or damages caused by sexual immorality may not show itself quickly, and this makes people think and feel that they are enjoying themselves and are okay.

Sexually immorality emcompass all sexual sins, begining from fornication, adultary, ma********on, po*******hy, homosexualism, lesbianism, lost etc.
It is sponsored or backed by a spirit.

How does it comes to our lives:

Through watching of po*******hy, romantic videos, pictures, immoral games; on-line and offline.

Once we are entangle with the above, then come the lust of the eyes, mind and flesh. Which eventually push one into praticalization(fornication, adultatry etc)

To be totally free from sexual immorality, you need to submit yourself completely to the spirit of God.

Because, No man is empty there's always a spirit controlling him/her, either the spirit of God or of the devil.

When you give your life to Christ, it doesn't automatically stop it.

KEYS TO TOTAL FREEDOM:

* Understand that only Jesus can set you free (John 15:5) Go to God in prayer, submit to him, know that "NOBODY" except God can save you unless God.

* The Word of God. (Revelation 12:11)
You must make the word of God your friend. Fill your heart with the word of God, all the time.

* Obedience through submission. (Romans 6:15) Submit to the Holy spirit. Take instructions from the Holy spirit and always try to do it, no matter how hard it looks.

* Discipline: You must discipline yourself from things that expose you to immoral acts, feelings or desires. Like watching of romantic videos, pictures, games and music etc.
You must discipline yourself in fasting and prayer also.

There is nothing like the spirit of fasting and prayer, rather you discipline yourself into it.

Note: Sexual purity is a warfare, it is what you have to fight for everyday. "FLEE" (1 Corinthians 6:18)

prayer: Lord have mercy on me and Deliver me from sexual immorality as you help me to apply these keys.

HOW TO KNOW WHEN YOU ARE TRULY BLESSED PART 2

Matthew 5 verse 8
"Blessed are the PURE IN HEART: FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD."

Purity of heart means not accomodating any evil in your minds. One of the prove that one is blessed, is maintaining a pure heart and this will also help you see God while on earth and when you die. To have pure need to see PHILIPIANS 4: 8.

Making peace is great and a noble responsibility every christain must strive to do.

You are truly a child of God depending on the level of effort that you put to make peace.

The liences to be called a true child of God or blessed is in your ability to make peace with others.

" BLESSED ARE THOSE THAT ARE PERSECUTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE: FOR THEIRS IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN"

Persecution is one of the proof that we are truly kingdom citizens, or blessed.

You will face persecution, but what will help you through every persecution time is you ability to focus on the reward that await.

Being persecuted for rightiousness sake is a prove that you with God, and you are representing the kinhdom rightly.
Each time you are pass through persecution you should know that you are not alone.

Prayer: God help me to walk with you in these so that at the end, I should be called blessed, in Jesus name, Amen.
