Face of Nkporo of nkporo crowns a new queen .

The competitive event which happened last night had so many beautiful and intelligent girls fighting for the crown but as we all know a winner must emerge!!

After a rigorous process one miss Racheal Ndukwe from Ukwa Nkporo emerged the winner and was given a cash prize of 1,000,000 which was paid in dollar equivalent.

The other winners also got their prize in dollar equivalent

The event which was powered by Mary and Jackson foundation was a great opportunity for young girls to showcase their talents and skills.

Our history, our tradition and our cultural heritage speak volume of the most hospitable people in Africa and this trajectory will be made known to all.

We are live with our website in the coming days it will be furnished with enormous information, cultural heritage, dynamic map of nkporo, history of past and present heroes/heroines from Ukwa to Okwoko to Agbaja to Amurie to Ndi Nko to Elughu to Obuofia and to Etitiama! It promises to be expository, rich in information not forgetting our E-Learning platform where Nkporo dialects will be taught.

Subsequently more modifications on the platform and the most beautiful part of it all is that will are live.

Nkporo development Union Lagos branch gets new executives!!!

The union on 28th May inaugurated and swore in new executives, our correspondent who was at the event which took place on Sunday said that it was a colourful event as people turn out in their numbers to witness the process.

Some of them spoken to said it had never been like this before which means a new era is birthed and they are optimistic that they will deliver.

Many notable Nkporo dignitaries turned up for the event people like Agu (Agu n'eche mba), chief Sunday Eleanya ( Ike Nkporo) Iroegbula Ota (Odogwu N'Abia) and many others too numerous to mention.

Today Dr.O.U. Oji receives his staff of office as Autonomous eze for Ndi Nko. this took place at Micheal okpara auditorium umuahia.

In a Facebook post made by the daughter Juliet Oji where she wrote

Congratulations to my father His Royal Highness Eze Dr. O. U. OJI(Uga III of Ndi Nko Autonomous Community) as he receives his staff of office from the State Governor.

The deputy governor of Abia state His excellency Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu who represented the Governor did the hand over of the staff to the new Eze Autonomous.
