Pa Ayo was a mighty man of God and he still has a great legacy that will last till eternity. He was a man of FAITH and PRAYER through out his days on the surface of earth... He won souls and set captive free by God's power that was upon him.
Pa Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola once told his fellow ministers during a prayer meeting to kneel down for a "SHORT" prayer.

After about 2-3 hours of kneeling down, the ministers became frustrated & sat down, leaving only Apostle Babalola still on his knee praying for about 5-6 hrs.

The following day, they asked him “Baba, if you ask us to pray a short prayer with you which took almost 6 hours, How many hours will your LONG prayer last?”

[He prayed so much that his knee made a hole in a rock.] The hole is still there on a big rock in Osun state.

The Ministry & Healing revival of his mission began with the raising of a dead child in September 1930. What followed this in 3 weeks was the healing of about 100 lepers, 60 blind people & 50 lame persons.

There was a god called ” egule” worshipped in the Isowo Quarters of the town. This god was so ruthless that no man dares point a finger at it to call attention to it as such acts led to forfeiture of fingers or death.
It is said that a big python coiled around the pot on which the god was placed. This god was situated on a bushy hill & no one dares goes there for fear of being harmed by the god or the python guarding it.
When the Apostle got to this town he requested to visit the hill of this god. People were concerned for his safety but he insisted, then people from neighboring towns & villages came to see what was going to happen. All he took was his bell & his staff and he went to the hill with people watching him.

Troost Ekong was born in Harlem, Netherlands to a Nigerian father from Akwa Ibom and a Dutch mother.

His love for football led to serious friction between his parent. His Nigerian father did everything possible to stop him from chasing a career in Football. His Dad insisted that he must go to school, get the degrees and get a good white colar job.

His father went as far as refusing to signing his acceptance letters of a football academy he was admitted to through the support of his mother.

Because of his Strong Passion, He went against his father's wish and that brought some bad blood btw his parents. Ekong focused on playing football and getting into a football academy. Today he is living his dreams.

The Philosopher David Hume, argued that all objects of human inquiry are either "relation of ideas" (i.e. everything which can be known and tested emperically).

However, there are serious problems with this position. The main one is that Hume's philosophy fails its own test, because his own statement fits into neither of his categories. As Norman Geisler comments:

The statement that "only analytical or empirical propositions are meaningful" is not itself an analytic (true by definition) or empirical statement. Hence, by its own criteria it is meaningless.

C.S Lewis deals with this kind of materialist approach in his usual lucid manner, showing that a dogmatic commitment to this philosophy makes thinking itself problematic.

It follows that no account of the universe can be true unless that account leaves it possible for our thinking to be a real insight. A theory which explained everything else in the whole universe but which made it impossible to believe that our thinking was valid would be utterly out of court. For that theory would itself have been reached by thinking... Thus a strict materialism refutes itself for the reasons given long ago by Professor Haldane: "If my mental processes are determined wholly by the motions of atoms in my brain, I have no reason to suppose that my beliefs are true.... and hence I have no reason for supposing my brain to be composed of atoms.

Therefore, a commitment to the modernist world-view, in which there is nothing other than the empirically testable world around us, means that everything else is seen through a materialist lens (although this lens, of course, is not acknowledged and does not even pass its own test).
