ATIKU HOSTS KOGI STATE PDP DELEGATION, GIVES ASSURANCES OF KEEPING TO HIS PROMISES

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegation from Kogi State, today, paid a solidarity visit to the party's presidential flag bearer in the forthcoming presidential election, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (GCON), in his Abuja residence.

The delegation led by the former governor of the state, Idris Wada, enthused that the people of Kogi state are excited with the emergence of Atiku as the 2023 Presidential candidate of the party and reaffirmed their commitments toward ensuring his victory at the polls. Former Governor Wada acknowledged the fact that the Wazirin Adamawa enjoys a robust friendship with the people of Kogi state; hence his antecedents and the old links with the state will certainly translate into a huge electoral victory.

On his path, the former vice-president who thanked the delegation for the solidarity visit, promised to work with them for the collective success of the party in particular and the country at large, with a strong assurance of ensuring continuous engagements and constant interactions with the people.

ATIKU PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE FAMILY OF THE FORMER OPEC SEC. GEN.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming presidential election in 2023, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (GCON) today paid a condolence visit to the family of Dr. Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo, the former Secretary-general of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Country (OPEC) in Abuja.

During the visit, the Wazirin Adamawa prayed Allah to forgive the sins of the deceased and to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

In another development, the former vice- president also paid a condolence visit to the family of Alhaji Umar Lawan Kareto, who was a former PDP national treasurer and APC chieftain, in their Garki residence. The Wazirin Adamawa was received on arrival by the brother of the deceased Alhaji Gambo Lawan.

VOTE OF CONFIDENCE PASSED ON ATIKU AS HE HOSTS MEMBERS OF PDP SOUTH-SOUTH WARD-TO-WARD CAMPAIGN GROUP

The members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South-South ward-to-ward campaign group led by Ada Fedrick Okwori, today paid a solidarity visit to His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (GCON) in Abuja.

Speaking at the occasion, a member of the delegation, Hon. Onoge Tamuno said the group has implicit confidence in the ability of the former vice-president of the country to run, rescue and redirect the country on the path of peace, unity and progress noting that Atiku was the leader of the economic team in the past that reposition the economy for growth and development.

In the same vein, another member of the delegation recognized the Wazirin Adamawa as a team player who has made enormous commitment towards the growth of democracy in Nigeria.

Members of the team unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the PDP flag bearer pledging their loyalty and support for his candidature in the upcoming presidential election in 2023, saying that they have made enough mobilization and sensitization to deliver at the grassroots level.

On his part, the PDP presidential candidate welcomed members of the delegation and thanked them for coming and charged them to work to ensure the party’s victory in 2023 polls to ensure a better tomorrow for the country.

Communique of the Interactive Meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) with Former National Publicity Secretaries, Zonal/ States Publicity Secretaries and other Stakeholders Held Today, Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the PDP National Secretariat, Abuja

After a very comprehensive session, the meeting of former and serving spokespersons of the Party resolves as follows;

1. Restates confidence in the National Chairman, Sen. Dr. Iyorchia Ayu and the National Working Committee (NWC) in running the affairs of the Party.

2. Restates confidence in the capacity, experience and competence of H.E Atiku Abubakar to rescue, redirect and rebuild this country to earn the respect of the International Community.

3. We believe that only the PDP under the leadership of H.E Atiku Abubakar has the capacity to protect and secure the lives and properties of Nigerians as well as rebuild the economy of the nation in such a manner as to put food on the table.
