This is the worse administration ever, what are we benefiting in this administration that you are applauding? Only 3% of Benue State citizens are civil servant and you are here celebrating payment of salary that most of them earn less than 50k a month you are mad
I won't talk about the flyover, subsidized transportation only a fool can celebrate that.
Pay attention and learn
90% of Benue State citizens are pure farmers which means about 70% of the IGR comes from the farm, and today as we speak, this is the worse administration in Benue with high insecurity, in all forms, and u said is the wish of the masses? which masses? The masses that can't have successful night sleep? the masses that keep running and can't go to farm because of fulani herds men attack? The only legacy that was left in Benue before this administration took over was Agriculture and in less than a year Agriculture has been destroyed in total because of insecurity. The governor that can stop the political activities in the state for his own selfish reasons all the name of insecurity but can't protect the lives of the ordinary citizen, I weep bitterly for Benue State. I am sorry if you are hurt but this is bitter truth A-lie- is not fighting for the masses?
In fact it is easy to say that the death rate is now higher than the birth rate because I have not seem a situation where hundred people are giving birth to in one day but yesterday about 100 people died in Gbagir if you want to take the statistics as from the take over of this administration only in Sankera the death toll is more than 500 people, this are people who could've being productive and inventors of the future but has been killed due poor governance in the state under the watch of A-lie failure to protect lives and properties. Today hunger has taken over, unemployment has increased on a high velocity all this is happening to the masses don't forget Before you comment on this post make sure you are replying from the village you come from

Investors are flocking to Aba as Taiwan's Maxxis Tyres plans to establish a full-scale tyre production plant in the city.

Following the stable power restored by Geometric Power in Aba North, with plans to expand to 8 other LGAs by next week, interest in the commercial hub is growing. Taiwanese Directors of Maxxis Tyres through Apostle Chibuzo Of OPM church, recently visited Ukanku Community to inspect land for the production plant, which will include motorcycle/tricycle tires, car tires, light trucks, ATVs, trailer tires, and more.

Maxxis Tyres, a brand of Cheng Shin Rubber Industry Co. in Taiwan, originally started as a bicycle tire maker in 1967 and is currently ranked as the 11th largest tire company worldwide.

The geometric Power Plant was Commissioned on the 26th February 2024, in Aba by President Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima. The Power plant is expected to provide an uninterrupted power supply in Aba and its environs.

Still, 3 roads reconstructed and rehabilitated in Aba by the Administration of Governor Alex Otti were commissioned. They are Omoba Road in Ogbor Hill Aba; Queens Street; and Jubilee Road. This makes it a total of 9 roads reconstructed and commissioned in Aba by the 9-month-old Administration of Gov. Alex Otti, OFR.

The Governor is on cause to fully restore Aba as the Japan of Africa.

I made a post recently concerning the security and the current hardship being faced by Benue citizens and a lots of people insulted me but I don't give a f**k about what you said but note this, I am able to post today and complain about the current situation of the state because I didn't died yesterday, we all are alive because we are the survivors of yesterday victims and I ask again must we all die before the security and the hardship face by Benue citizens will be reduced?
Today Benue state is been used as example of state been confront with heavy insecurity challenges and you expect me to be clapping for township road, and payment of salaries? You all are joking, I will tell you this for free as we survive yesterday killings and we are talking today, don't forget even today people are being killed, you don't know tomorrow might be me or you, so must we all die before the state government will provide security and intervene on the current hardship in the state? If no how long should we continue to wait for we are dying of insecurity and hunger
I weep everyday seeing little children who are supposed to be Engineers, medical doctors, teachers, and great inventors of tomorrow been killed today and no justice for them and many people both young and old been killed every day, when will the state government can put an end to this? but rather they use us to play politics and continue shifting blames from one arm of the government to another just to achieve their selfish interests and go nobody care about our welfare whether we are suffering or not 😭😭

BEQA DG TAKES MONITORING AWAY FROM MAKURDI: UNRAVELS DOCTORED REGISTERS OF SS3 STUDENTS AT GSS, TORKURA

The Director General of the Benue State Education Quality Assurance Agency (BEQA), Dr. Terna Francis, today discovered a doctoring of school registers to reflect a population of 274 learners for the SS 3 class, at Government Secondary School, Torkura.

Some schools have been engaging in this practice since the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr Hyacinth Alia announced a palliative measure of paying SSCE fees for all students in Government established schools.

The discovery was made when the BEQA DG led a monitoring team to schools around the Daudu, Yelwata area.

Other anomalies discovered and sanctioned by the DG included teaching without requisite lesson plans and notes, poor class room management, and disorderly behavior by some teaching staff.

Schools visited during the exercise included:
* LGEA Primary School, Yelwata
* UBE Junior Secondary School, Yelwata
* Saint Francis Primary School, Daudu
* Mbawar Community Secondary School, Daudu
* UBE Junior Secondary School, Daudu

During the electioneering campaign we all came out and supported Alia as next governor not because he is a man of God, neither is it because we want him to come and try to fix Benue state we supported him because he identified the problem of Benue State and promise to secure lives and properties and make Benue State a productive state by providing thousands of job for the youth both skilled and unskilled all he needs was just power to make this happen
And now we have supported you and made you the governor
How long should we continue waiting for peace to return in Benue state?
How long should we continue to wait for the killings to be stopped?
How long should we continue to wait for the IDPs to return home?
We are being hit hard by economic hardship right now, the price of commodity has gone up what should we expect from this administration during this hard time?
Should we continue to die in silence because we want to give the governor time? and if so how long should we continue to wait?
We are dying everyday no food to eat
No way to farm
Fulani herders are killing us
Bandits and kidnapping is going on
No access to good and quality water
No access to quality health care
How long should we continue to wait?

On our part we supported you to provide permanent solutions to this identified problems and challenges confronting us as Benue citizens and not to compare you to the previous administration but to improve our lives and make Benue productive again and also to protect the live of a common man

BEQA GIVES IDYU NUR/PRIMARY SCHOOL, FREEDOM MODEL SCHOOL, 3 MONTHS TO BUILD PROPER STRUCTURES OR FACE CLOSURE

Today, the Director General, Benue State Education Quality Assurance Agency (BEQA), Dr. Terna Francis, expressed concern over the state of some private schools in the state. The DG who met students learning under poultry-like make-shift structures warned the management of both schools to upgrade their facilities or face closure in three months.

While on the monitoring visits, Dr. Francis observed that some school owners were operating without approvals and not meeting educational standards. He also noted that some schools were using learners for business purposes, rather than providing quality education.

The BEQA DG reiterated to the management of some of the schools visited to strictly adhere to stipulated examination fees as officially allowed by the three examination bodies WAEC, NECO and NABTEB.

The DG and his team visited;

The origin of God is complexity..... complexity simply means what humans can't understand...that means God is a replacement of your limitation in knowledge and understanding.

For instance, if a fire falls from the sky now and humans can't offer reasonable interpretation of what happened.... Africans say it's God!! Before now, our ancestors thought thunder, lighting and many volcanic symbols are God because they couldn't fathom what causes it, that's why they have God of thunder and so on......but today science have proven in detail analysis the origin of this things ........ complexity (what men don't understand) is what births God. ALIA APPRECIATES TINUBU OVER AWARD OF MAKURDI-ENUGU ROAD
..AS WORKS MINISTER FLAGS OFF CONSTRUCTION WORK IN BENUE

Thursday, January 25th, 2024.

Benue state governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has appreciated the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led federal government, for approving the contract for the dualizatio of the Makurdi- Otukpo-9th Mile (Enugu) road project.

The governor gave his word of appreciation at Apir, Makurdi local government on Thursday, January 24th, during the flag off of the Makurdi -Enugu road construction project.

He assured the Ministry of Works and the contractor handling the project, China Habour Engineering Company Limited (CHEC) of the State Government’s support and partnership to ensure the project is completed within the specified time.

Governor Alia who also appreciated God for granting the state a new leaf under his watch, thanked the people of Benue for their patience, with a call on them to continue to support his administration and that of President Ahmed Tinubu for the overall progress of the state and country.

While expressing his confidence and belief in China Habour Engineering Company to do a good job, the governor charged the people of the area and the state in general, to support the contractor in the area of security and other ways they can, for speedy delivery of the job.

Earlier in his speech during the flag-off, the Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi, commended governor Alia for his determination to develop the state, given his numerous visits to his office in Abuja.

He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the project and other numerous road projects across the country, assuring that the requests the governor made when he visited the ministry will be granted.

The former Ebonyi state governor assured that work on the Makurdi-Enugu road project will kick off in full swing, going forward.

While commending governor Alia for his efforts to transform Benue state, with numerous ongoing road projects in Makurdi, the Minister thanked the state government for creating an enabling environment for the construction of the Makurdi-Enugu road project.

On their part, the CHEC team promised to do their best to deliver a good job on the 266.4km road project.

The overall funding of the project is a partnership between the federal government of Nigeria and the Export-Import Bank of China.

POLICE FOIL ASSASSINATION PLOT, ARRESTS LG CHAIRMAN FOR PLANS TO ELIMINATE BENUE SPEAKER

Reaffirms Commitment to Prevention of Crimes

The Nigeria Police Force, through the diligent efforts of its operatives, has successfully apprehended two suspects involved in an alleged assassination plot. The arrested suspects include a Chairman of one of the Local Government Areas of Benue State.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the Local Government Chairman allegedly contracted a militia with the sinister intention of eliminating the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Aondona Hycenth Dajoh. The operatives of the Force Intelligence Department – Intelligence Response Team (FID-IRT) swiftly swung into action upon receiving credible intelligence regarding the planned assassination.

Both suspects are currently in police custody and are actively cooperating with investigators in the ongoing inquiry. The Nigeria Police Force remains resolute in its commitment to upholding the safety and security of citizens and public officials.

The arrested suspects will face the full weight of the law, and the Nigeria Police Force reassures the public of its unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order, and prevention of crimes at all levels.
