THE TAHAJJUD PRAYER OR (QIYAMUL LAIL):

This is a late night prayer and it's best time to pray is the last quarter of the night. One can pray as many raka'ahs but must end with a Wire. It's recommendable to recite All the suras loudly. Allah says:
ومن الليل فتهجدبه نافلةلك غير ان يبعثك ربك مقاما محمودا.

"And during a part of the night, pray Tahajjud beyond what is incumbent on you; maybe your Lord will raise you to a position of great glory".

Although this order was specially directed to the prophet (SAW), it also refers to all Muslims since he is their example and guider.

Allah says:
كانواقليلامن اليل ما يهجعون {} وبالأسحارهم يستغفرون.

"They were in the habit of sleeping but little by night,
And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for forgiveness;

From the above verses, we can believe that those who regularly perform the Tahajjud prayers are the righteous and are more deserving of Allah's bounty and mercy.

Alhamdulillah, today been the 3rd day of Ramadan.
Tafsir by Sheikh Sainna Abba Umar, has been successfully done at his residence. And the social distance is strictly adhered.
