"I am an African Child" is a poem written by Eku MCGred.

This poem describes:
This poem has a beautiful illustration and frame. The main concept of the poem is how blacks are bullied and discriminated against around the world. This poem is the answer to all the white's bullying based on ethnicity. The poem is written to encourage a positive image of the African children and help them build a connection with African heritage and identity.
The main concept of the poem is revealed at the end of the poem. The poet narrates his life that he is black and he is proud of it. This poem is a positive approach towards the children of Africa to feel proud and accepted with their skin color which is described as 'chocolate color'. The poem itself is a boost of pride that skin color or the ones who bully based on it cannot deprive Africans of charity and opportunity. This poem has the potential that it could be hung on the walls for African positivity and boost in your space.
