*THE SEASONAL WORD OF GOD (The SWoG)*
*Sun.10th - Sat.16th, 2022*
*GOD IS NOT A LIAR!*
Beloved Brethren, it is my joy again to welcome you to this great week. God's mercy has sustained us hitherto, it will ever be sufficient for us throughout this month, and beyond! In the name of Jesus Christ!
It behoves me to once again sincerely acknowledge and appreciate everyone who has been committed to reading and circulating this Devotional since inception, even hitherto.
It's 24months in circulation this week (Tuesday 12th July, 2022, precisely).
I have all audacity to inform/remind you, sir's and ma's, "God is not a liar!".
There's nothing His mouth declares that is impossible or too difficult for His hands to perform.
*God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good? Numbers 23:19 AMPV*
God doesn't lie. No matter your level of intimidation, you cannot so much intimidate Him that He will lie. This is because it is impossible for Him to lie. He cannot be manipulated, lest you say you will manipulate Him to lie; He CANNOT lie! He means His words.
*This was so that, by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us, we who have fled [to Him] for refuge might have mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before [us]. [Now] we have this [hope] as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out upon it—a hope] that reaches farther and enters into [the very certainty of the Presence] within the veil, Hebrews 6:18,19 AMPV*
*In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;*

What is that challenge or problem that is making you to consider God a liar?
"God's integrity is constantly constant."
*If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself. 2Timothy 2:13 AMPV.*
However, some factors are capable of presenting God as a liar in our lives, even as believers. Paramount amongst the factors are lack of Divine Direction and guidance, and disobedience.
A great many folks are their everything. God is never prioritized (if He's considered, at all) in anything they're doing.
Nothing empowers God's integrity to perform as man's obedience to His commands, instructions- direction and guidance!
If and when you feel too big to obey God, God will appear too unfaithful to be trusted, to you.
You must understand the mystery of appointed place and time, as well, lest God become to you, a liar.
*And they thirsted not when He led them through the deserts; He caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them; He split the rock also, and the waters gushed out. Isaiah 48:21 AMPV*
I am sure you know what a desert is. Right? So, when God leads you through it, be confident of His already made oasis. But, when disobedience is in place, God's integrity is restricted.
You may not have more than one Divine Direction per time, but, you'll always have Divine guidance (instructions and commands). Your obedient to one determines your qualification for the next, and, you know, God's integrity is the vertebra of the glory of every glorious man.
This is just like examination to lectures, as students. The focus is examination, and the lectures are principally to prepare you for the examination. The same is true for Divine guidance- it is to guide you towards the accomplishment of Divine Direction.
The Israelites were directed to Canaan land, but it took Divine guidance (both of time and place) to take them there.
Listen, if you miss God's appointed place or time for your life, God cannot, but become to you, a liar.
If he asked you to move northward, for instance, don't settle southward, eastward, or westward, lest regrets become your nickname.
If He ask you to start a business next month, don't hesitate, rather, be desperate to know details of it.
If He ask you to proceed with your academic pursuit, don't look at what is happening now. Don't say you don't have sponsor; He's your everything!
If He says you will still marry this year, don't say you're not in any relationship yet; Adam and Eve were not in any relationship before, but God initiated and consummated it.
If He made the whole cosmos within just a week, what else is too cumbersome or insurmountable for Him? Nothing! Yours is to obey Him, His integrity will be committed.
"If there is man to obey, there is God that performs!"
Man's irresponsibility can make God seems to be a liar. You cannot be sleeping with a prophecy of greatness, for instance, and expect God not to seem to be a liar to you.
Whatsoever "godly" he does he shall prosper. Are you doing nothing and yet expecting something? Or, you are doing cruelly and yet expecting to prosper? This will make God seems to be a liar to you.
*1. Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. 2. But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.*
*3. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away.*
*5. Therefore the wicked [those disobedient and living without God] shall not stand [justified] in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous [those who are upright and in right standing with God]. 6. For the Lord knows and is fully acquainted with the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly [those living outside God’s will] shall perish (end in ruin and come to nought). Psalm 1:1-6 AMPV.*
If I asked you yesterday to come and see me at dawn today, for example, and you come at 10am, you have obeyed to come, but you will consider me a liar when you don't meet me, because I was only available at home at that appointed time I gave you.
I have no pressure of any kind on any of His assignments for my life, because of my obedience to His direction and guidance, accordingly. You cannot have problem with solution. (That is, you cannot have solution, and yet be bothered about problem.) This is one of the reasons I am always beatific.
This Devotional, "The SWoG", has been coming expressly and powerfully hitherto because of the commitment of His integrity to that which He has entrusted to me "to rescue His people from slavery to independence through the Word in season".
*The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. Isaiah 50:4*
If there is anything He asked you to do and you are struggling therein, examine yourself whether you're working with the blueprints, including the time and place, for it.
Because,
*Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.*
*Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you]. AMPV. 1 Thessalonians 5:24.*
You, too, can prove God's integrity by your obedience to His direction and guidance, and you will surely agree with me that God is not, will not, and cannot be, a liar.
This month, you will enjoy God's faithfulness, miraculously, in the name of Jesus Christ!
