I can speak in tongue so I'm more spiritual than you 🤪. Have you ever felt like a brother or sister is making you feel less of a Christian because of their gifts?
We humans tend to misuse anything that we do not truly understand it's purpose. Spiritual gifts are given by the Lord to His people so that we can use it to communicate the love of God to the church and especially to those who do not know God. The key here is 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱. It is not for pride, to show how spiritual you are...this is why apostle paul wrote "even if I can speak with tongues of angels but have no love, I am nothing"
Your gift is nothing unless you learn the purpose of it and use it according to the purpose it was given.
If you do not possess any spiritual gifts yet, it should not make you think of yourself as less of a Christian, you are encouraged to ask the Lord for the gift but with the right motives. Do not ask for gifts because you want to compete or show off but because you want to communicate the love of God to a dying world with the gift and to strengthen the body of Christ with it.

When we all use our gifts for the right reasons, the results will be that the body of Christ is more united and we will be more effective army for the lord.
