We introduce Africa’s first indigenous 2D feature length animated film by Magic carpet studios.

The movie is an adaptation based upon the best selling classic novel written by the late celebrated author Cyprian Ekwensi.

For us at Temple Productions, this is an amazing opportunity to deliver such an impressive film in animation. The project has huge potential and we are participating not only as investors but also as a partner, guiding the delivery of the project to market.

The ancient city of Kano comes alive in this gripping tale of ‘The Passport of Mallam Ilia’. Set in 19th century Africa, it is a cautionary tale of love, conquest and betrayal. The movie features the late Sadiq Daba, Toyin Oshinaike, Dija and a host of other exceptional talents.
