'In memory of the children who lost their lives during the stampede on December 18, I have decided to create an NGO which will be known as Dec 18. It will cater for the needs of children from 0 to 10 years. When the incident happened last year, there was a couple who lost their only child and this led to their separation.

We tried our best to bring them together and it was successful. The wife just delivered another baby. This NGO will cater for the food, clothing, shelter and the education of this baby from now till he graduates from the university' -Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat
