A Story of Identical Twins Who Are Nigerian Professors

Professors Hassan and Hussein are identical twin brothers born on the 9th August 1973 and raised in Kaduna State in Nigeria.

They attended the same schools from the childhood up to the university level. They obtained their PhDs in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.

They're Professors of Agricultural Economics at the same university- Federal University, Dutsinma (FUDMA), Katsina State, Nigeria.

They attended interviews on the same day. Professor Hassan resumed in 2013 while his brother Professor Hussein assumed duty in 2014.

They both presented their Inaugural lectures on the same day, 6th February 2024.

The twin Professors share a lot of things in common and being so identical makes it pretty difficult for their colleagues and students to tell them apart. They always dress alike.

Their students have good remarks about them that they're both compassionate, caring, approachable, and accessible.

The identical twin Professors got married on the same day in November 2006. They are each blessed with 5 kids (four boys and a girl).

I chased one Pharmacy Student girl from our 100 level until I left U.I. Her excuse in 100 level was "I was too young for her" even though I was clearly older than her. Instead of her to just say that I couldn't give her the type of maintenance she was looking for.

Her excuse in 200 level was that she was already dating a doctor. You know how those pharmacy/ Medicine students are with doctors na. Them think say the doctors go marry them. LMFAOOOOOO.

Her excuse in 300 level was that the Doctor boyfriend broke her heart and she was done with relationships. But Aunty, why am I being punished for the sins of another man?

In 400 level, she said I was already leaving school and there was no point because she still had a couple of years to spend in school. Secondly, that I was unemployed and I could not take care of her needs. She was now a woman yunno.
After I graduated, I tried one last time and this time she said “You have graduated from school but you haven’t graduated from chasing me after 4 years. Am I a Bachelor’s degree program? Move on, abeg”

Anyways, I moved to Lagos and I met a beautiful woman at an event in Sheraton and you would not believe she happened to be the elder sister of this same girl. Small world.

I was originally not interested in having any romantic relationship with the elder sister because she didn’t have the physical features I saw in her younger sister (If you know, you know) but we eventually started dating.

So one day my former crush was coming to Lagos and her elder sister asked me to accompany her to the bus park to pick her up.

My former crush almost fainted when her sister introduced me as her boyfriend as we were putting her bags in the trunk of my car. As her elder sister walked back to the park to carry one more bag, this girl pulled me to one corner.

This poor mechanic was dating this beautiful girl online. One day the girl asked him to send money for transportation to come visit him. The poor mechanic was surprised. He thought the girl was going to deceive him. He couldn't believe a pretty girl like this would want to come to him. Two days later, he borrowed money from his boss and sent it to the girl. To her surprise, the girl flew from Abuja to Lagos, Nigeria, to see him. This beautiful girl is from a very wealthy family and wanted to prove men wrong that true love still exists and not all girls are after boys' money. She first went to the address the guy had sent her and found out that her boyfriend was staying in a one-bedroom apartment with 7 other guys. She asked them where she can find her boyfriend and they told her he is at work on the streets. She took the taxi to surprise him where he works. She came to the street walking around asking for the boy and people started teasing her saying 'that ugly boy is sleeping somewhere under someone's car with fat all over him'. THIS IS WICKEDNESS, NOT BUSINESS

While driving along Shomolu street, Adeniji Adele Lagos, yesterday morning I noticed that some hot substance were pouring out from the engine bonnet of my Jeep and i stopped. Behold! The radiator overheated, and I waited for 1 hour as instructed by my Automobile Engineer via phone call before I could pour some waters in the radiator.

I went for a pure water seller after one hour and behold, the young Man on the photo below came forward. I collected 23 sachets of pure water and poured them carefully into my car radiator one after the other.
After all set and done, I asked the pure water seller how much for the 23 sachets and he said ₦50 each, ₦1150 for the 23 sachets and i smiled.
To cut the story short, I gave him ₦2000, collect My change and I drove off.

Later in the day I put a call across to My good friend and the owner of the pure water company situated at Idoluwo stree, same Adeniji Adele Lagos Dr Olatunji Aremu and he assured me that His company is supplying at ₦2600 for a set of 10 bags of 20 sachets each.
In a nutshell, a bag of pure water was supplied at the rate of ₦260 per bag, ₦13 per sachet. He even tell me to go and verify I did very and found out he was saying the truth.

How on Earth can a so-called poor pure water hucker purchase a bag of pure water that contains 20 sachets for ₦260, Sell ₦50 per sachet, and make ₦1000 for a bad he bought ₦260 and Gain N740 per bag?

Some will say it's market strategy but NO! This is pure wickedness. Can we continue like this? This is pure wickedness. This is wickedness extraordinary.
Nigeria is the way it is today because, wickedness and corruption runs in the vains of majority of Nigèríàns. No sympathy, no empathy, infarct, we are now in a dog eat dog Nigeria.

Fellow Nigerians How else do we define wickedness?
The poor masses of Nigeria are punishing themselves thinking they're punishing Tinubu.

Many years ago, my friend dated a certain guy.

They worked in the same office.
They tried so hard to hide their relationship from colleagues at work.

But at some point he suffered a major housing issue and had to move in with her.

She was the oldest and had 3 younger siblings living with her.

They accepted him in.
They did his laundry.
They called him Sir.
They served his food.
They attended to him.
They respected him.

The relationship kept going on.

She had a car, he started driving both of them to work together.

After a while, it seemed they couldn't hide it anymore and the whole office knew of it.

She was a reserved person while he was a bit more outgoing.

So when they weren't at work, he was out and about with her car.

He lived with her for over 3 years that I can remember.

I know many times I would ask her why they weren't formalizing their marriage instead of just living together.

She would say she has asked severally and he says he is saving up so they can do both the marriage and move out of that house, leaving it for her siblings.

Suddenly one day, my friend got a call from a lady.

The lady was calling her all sorts of names and asking her to leave her man alone.

They lady told her they were getting married soon and she was just a hopeless old wit*ch.

My friend called and told me.
She asked the man.
He denied knowing anything.

Long story short.

The calls and insults and threats from this other woman continued.

Our man kept denying.

My friend did some digging and found the girl to be true.

Within a few weeks, our man moved out and married that girl.

It's been over 14 years now.

My friend suffered a major major heartbreak and never found love again.

She is over 45 now and not married.

Both my friend and the man are my Facebook friends.

I see him post his kids birthdays as they keep growing.

I never healed so I never comment on his posts.

I guess in life we win some, we lose some.

I have never stopped wondering why he did it this way.

He used her car, her siblings, her sweat and everything to take himself a wife. Why didn't he have the decency to tell her and maybe explain why he couldn't marry her.

It would have been painful, but atleast we would find some closure.

Two of her 3 siblings died after the heartbreak. They were ill.. She almost went mad.

She cried so much that till date, I feel her face has a fixed crying state on it.

My heart remains ever so heavy about her.

I hope that someday, I can look at his family pictures that he posts often and truly find healing.

It's been such a struggle.

Sola Faleye was the most trusted and loyal aide of the late Herbert Wigwe before he died.

Sola was a staff member of Diamond Bank and was among the assets acquired by Acess back when Wigwe acquired the bank in 2019.

Wigwe found him to be loyal, efficient, self-driven, dedicated, innovative, a goal-getter, and hardworking, so he made him his personal PA, and ever since Sola started working with Herbert, he has always travelled with him.

Whether on a local or international trip, he is there with his boss.

In fact, if you are calling Herbert on the phone and he is not picking his calls, just call Sola, he would give you a heads-up where Oga is and why he ia not picking his calls.

Sola, as expected, was with him in the US and was meant to travel with his boss in the ill-fated helicopter crash.

Untill Sola had this brainwave, instead of travelling with oga in the chopper, why travel with the luggage by road since the chopper could not carry it?

Again, it will take 3 hours and 30 minutes for the luggage to arrive, and since his job was to make sure that his boss was comfortable, there is no way he would be comfortable or go to bed until the luggage arrived, so it makes sense to travel by road.

According to Falaye, he decided to accompany the luggage by road to ensure it arrived safely to his boss, who told him it was a brilliant idea.

So he headed to Las Vegas by road with the luggage while Wigwe, his wife, son, and Mr. Ogunbajo boarded the chopper to the same destination.

While still driving to Vegas, Faleye tried to call his boss and the others on the chopper, but none of the calls went through.

He arrived Las Vegas with the lugages and continued to dial the number of his boss

If was later that the news that the newss was broke to him that he cheated death by whisker as his boss and his entourage could not make it to Las Vegas.

Sola’s name was on the manifest, and when the helicopter crashed, he was listed as one of the victims who died with his boss and family.

Sola was the last person who saw his boss, the wife, and Chizo alive before they embarked on the trip of no return.

It was said that he asked his boss:

Sir, how comfortable are you flying a chopper at night? I have never done it before”

The boss answered.

“ This is America, they have navigation systems for flying a chopper at night,’

Unfortunately, the American navigational system that he trusted so much failed him.

Sola would live with the trauma of the fact that he could have been on that ill-fated flight that ended the lives of his boss and his family and, at the same time, be grateful that God gave him a second chance to live.

Did you know a cake maker in Enugu refused to make Bianca Ojukwu's wedding cake because she thought Bianca was poor and of lower class?

Bianca stated that the rather amusing but depressing history of her wedding cake comes to mind whenever she sees a picture of it. During the planning of her wedding, she did learn from a dependable friend that a woman in Enugu made excellent wedding cakes.

She actually offered to take Bianca to the woman's home even though her friend didn't have a personal relationship with the cake lady. Bianca made the choice to abandon her Mercedes and commute with her friend in her adorable yet modest Volkswagen (a Beetle back then).The well-known cake maker, whose identity is being kept a secret for obvious reasons, was completely unaware of Bianca when they arrived, and she gave the car they were riding in a mocking glance.When Bianca asked her to make her wedding cake, she immediately started making excuses of every synopsis. She first told Bianca that her cakes were very expensive and that she would not be able to afford them (at 25,000 naira back then).

She offered to point Bianca in the direction of a less expensive cake shop. She also stressed that she only makes cakes for important people (even going so far as to name drop one Union bank manager, one boutique owner, etc. who in her opinion were "dignitaries"). Bianca assured her that I would be able to afford it. Then, when she inquired as to the location of the wedding, Bianca replied that Abuja was where it was happening.

The cake lady said Bianca would be responsible for covering her travel expenses to Abuja to mount the cake and that since she only travels by air, not road, that an added cost would be difficult for Bianca to carry, to which Bianca replied that she would pay.
She brought up the question of hotel accommodations, which Bianca assured her would be handled. Bianca's friend kept whispering in her ear and nudging Bianca to tell the cake lady who she was so the mocking melodrama could end, but Bianca refused.

Bianca despite being confused at the time, was secretly amused by human nature and social climbers, of which the woman was obviously one at the time based on her attitude. The lady was definitely not wealthy; her own car was an old Corolla; her surroundings were not luxurious; & she was simply one of those "I must belong by all means" individuals. Notwithstanding, she had the temerity to look down on others she considered to be less fortunate. Because she was still unsure that Bianca could afford her services (judging by her casual attire and the modest ride, which was not even Bianca's), the cake lady quickly discharged both of them, telling her to drop her phone number and that she would call her later.
They parted ways after Bianca gave her, her phone number but wrote down her Igbo name which was Odinaka. The cake lady vanished without a trace.

A massive multi-tiered wedding cake was made for free as PR to market and advertise the hotel's services after Bianca simply accepted a kind offer from the Canadian chef at the Nicon Hilton Abuja at the time, who was a master baker. A week before the wedding, the Enugu cake maker started to notice coverage of the upcoming wedding on television and recognized Bianca as the person who had come to her home for a wedding cake. The Nicon Noga Hilton (now known as the Transcorp Hilton) in Abuja hosted the very first event ever on a lovely, breezy day in November 1994, which was Bianca's wedding.

The life-size multi-step cake that can be seen in the photo below was donated by the Hilton's management. It is significantly larger and more opulent than any cake that the Enugu cake maker could have possibly offered. The fact that the event was broadcast nationwide meant that the Enugu cake maker missed a brilliant opportunity to show off her abilities and her goods. This magnificent use of advertising helped facilitate innumerable more weddings at the same Congress Hall at Hilton.

This significantly increased the hosting business for Hilton Events. The Cakemaker's business, which had some issues years ago, has indeed closed, according to the most recent information Bianca got.
