Aisha Ahmad, the deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, is detained by the DSS for allegedly purchasing Polaris Bank and Titan Bank (Union Bank) shares fraudulently.
Aisha is also being questioned over how Titan Bank raised $300 million in order to complete the acquisition of Union Bank in 2022.
