The first time Burna Boy met Davido was in 2011 in Port Harcourt. Burna was running behind Davido’s car, telling him and his brother, B-Red, how much he loved them.

When Davido got home, Burna Boy kept making posts about him on Twitter. Eventually, they met again and became good friends in the industry, even recorded songs which wasn’t released in the end.

Look at how humble Burna Boy was in this 2015 picture when he visited Davido.

But today, Burna Boy drags Davido every year unprovoked. He’s calls Davido talentless and accuses him of bending the truth.

Despite this, when Davido was asked about Burna Boy during an interview, he praised him, saying he was happy Burna won a Grammy.

Davido said he had always believed in Burna since the day they first met in 2011 and that is very true. He made many tweets about Burna when he was a nobody in the industry.

This speaks volumes about life and the loyalty of a p00r man.

Davido has done so much for Afrobeats. The least his colleagues can do is respect his legacy.

But Burna Boy and Wizkid have made it a habit to drag Davido every time they’re about to drop a project—and it’s really concerning.

If you believe you’re more talented than Davido, why not focus on your music and let him be? Why must you drag him? Why is everything he does, including his houses, such a problem for you?

You say you’re bigger than Davido, yet you keep clout-chasing with his name. That’s diddyish.

Nigerian upcoming artist Fido’s account has been banned just a few hours after he called Davido’s fan base “Osapkolor FC” during an Instagram live!

Apparently, the Joy is Coming crooner went live on Instagram to celebrate his song reaching #1 on Apple Music Nigeria. During the live, a Wizkid fan took over the comment section, saying, “Osapkolor (Davido) knows how to farm more than him,” and went on to flood the comments with “Osapkolor.”

When Fido saw the comments, he responded by saying that all those Osapkolor FCs would soon become his fans. That video went viral. The funniest part? He didn’t even know Davido is the person Wizkid and his fans refer to as Osapkolor.

After the video went viral, Davido’s fans quickly reported his accounts, and now his Tik—Tok account has been banned.

Fido tried to explain and apologize, saying he didn’t even know Davido is called Osapkolor. But sadly, the same bloggers and influencers who shared the video of him saying “Osapkolor FC” didn’t share his apology.

Now, 30BG fans are continuing to report his accounts, and he’s getting banned everywhere!

Fido is just a humble guy who’s finally seeing the light in the industry. Make wuna leave the guy abeg!

“Asake declined Olamide's invitation to perform at his show!” - a Close source to YBNL reveals

Olamide recently held a Christmas show and invited Asake to perform, but the singer didn’t show up. A few days later, Asake unfollowed Olamide and everyone at YBNL on social media, removing any trace of his association with the label.

YBNL Fans are disappointed, saying Asake’s decision might hurt his career, as many of his supporters are also Olamide’s loyal fans.

Olamide has peacefully allowed Asake to terminate his contract and part ways with his record label, YBNL Music.

Asake has been given the masters to all his songs recorded under the label, but they will maintain a royalty split on the songs for as long as the contract was intended to run, which is a minimum of 10 years.

Olamide said this: "I didn't create YBNL because I wanted to make money. I created it because I wanted to see other young people grow, so if any artist under me wants to leave, they are free. Asake has done his part, and I'm proud of him."

Asake has now removed anything concerning YBNL from his social media handles and unf0ll0wed everyone, including Olamide.

This contract was reportedly terminated a few months ago after the release of his Lungu album!

Tekno was one of the biggest musicians in Nigeria in 2016 after dropping Rara, Pana, and Diana. In 2017, he lost his voice and couldn’t sing the songs he wrote.

He started contacted Davido to give him the song IF, which he had written and was planning to record. Davido did not take him serious and was busy clubbing. Tekno took out his time one day, went to the club and carried Davido to the studio to record the song and the rest was history!

After Davido recorded and released IF, it became one of the biggest hit songs in Afrobeats history!

When the video dropped, it became the first African song to hit 1 million Y0uTube views in 24 hours.

It became Davido’s first song to be certified RIAA Gold in the US and the first solo song by an African artist to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify!

Davido made over $10 million from royalties and sales of this song, and it literally placed him at the top of Afrobeats globally!

Till date, Davido still appreciates Tekno for changing his life with that song!
