Joined in Holy Matrimony and Sealed by God the Father, God the Son and God the Holyghost on the 31-08-2024 in the city of Lagos Nigeria.

Our white wedding was super successful. We are grateful to our parents for their support, our friends and everyone that honored our invitation.

OUR LOVE STORY written by Lucy Obodo-Chukwu

The Bible said "He that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing."

For my husband Emmanuel Uzochukwu, he found me on Facebook and it all started with a Facebook post about a French class.

What caught his attention the more was the French class itself. Eager to learn the language he clicked on my post, messaged me and joined the class.

He wasn't interested in knowing the French tutor at all—he didn't even see my face or know my full name.

In fact, he saved my contact as "Okodo Lucy," showing his focus was entirely on the French lessons.

His dedication stood out when I assigned homework. Everyone submitted theirs on time and in text format, but he was different. He sent his work just few minutes to the deadline, both in text and audio.

And it was my first time hearing his voice, he was so funny especially how he started, I couldn't stop laughing. His French pronunciation was hilariously off, and he even acted like he was the tutor teaching me French.

I responded with corrections and a compliment on his humor, then left it at that.

We didn’t speak again until I noticed his WhatsApp status about public speaking. I wanted to improve my skills on public speaking, so I joined his class and asked a few questions. That's how our casual chats began.

When I hosted my first online conference which was a ladies conference, he volunteered, promoted it tirelessly, and drew a huge crowd of female participants.

His dedication and support were unwavering.

Naturally, I supported his summit idea in return. Together with El Favour Chidinma John, we pulled off a successful event.

As we worked closely together, we grew closer. Friendship blossomed into something more, and after more than three years of inseparable companionship, we are now officially Mr. and Mrs.

And that’s how a simple French class led to our forever love story.

My family traveled all the way from Nigeria to the country of Benin Republic 🇧🇯 to meet the family of this beautiful princess Lucy Obodo-Chukwu for an official marriage introduction.

When LOVE is involved, you can do ANYTHING.

It was a long journey but we thank God everything was successful.

First time I traveled to the country of Benin Republic 🇧🇯 in December 2023 to visit my soon to be in-laws.

Fun fact: My love Lucy Obodo-Chukwu has two nationalities, Nigeria 🇳🇬 by original and Benin Republic 🇧🇯 by birth. Yes she speaks French. As a matter of fact, we met in one of her online French training in 2020. God bless the day I saw her post on facebook. If you know, you know 😂😂😂

I had a great time visiting the home my wife was born and meeting her amazing parents.

We went to the beach and created beautiful moments.

I can’t wait to start FOREVER with you my Queen.
