The African society places so much emphasis on young people getting married in their 'primes', especially women. As young people in our primes, we sat and relived our experiences of all the societal brouhaha. We gave steps we have taken to combat the pressures to get married and stigma.

We hope someone learns something from our experiences and adhere to some of the practical strategies we suggested; like moving out of your parents house, staying away from people who marriage-shame you etc.
